Siesta Beach (sometimes known as Siesta Key Beach) is a beach located on Siesta Key in the U.S. state of Florida. The sand is 99% pure Quartz (Silica sand), soft and cool on the feet.
Siesta Key Beach offers tennis and volleyball courts, shaded playground and picnic area, and convenient concession stands for a quick bite or a refreshing drink. Its shallow water near the shoreline and year-round lifeguard protection make it a great beach for the whole family. You can even borrow beach wheelchairs if you have visitor that needs help across the sand.
Continuously one of the best beaches to visit year after year, there isn't a better place to go than Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida.

Years ago started staying on Siesta Beach. Then bought our retirement a little ways away. Best beach in the world and I've seen most of them.

@@chick6734 no it's usually not, but that depends on the time of year. During spring break it's pretty much busy all the time. I really enjoy going there or on my boat at night under a full moon.🌑 I'm usually the only one out there.

I have definitely enjoyed that more than a few times. Born and Raised on Cape Cod such an awesome change.. highly recommended for anyone from anywhere

Great video, appreciate you taking the time to video it for us to watch! I haven’t been since 2019 due to C19 & travel restrictions. Before that I’d been coming every year, sometimes twice a year for 40+ years. Love staying on Siesta Key, we stay down closer to point of rocks, but always walk up to Siesta Key beach area especially for Sand castles tournament, and drum circle events. Watching from Canada xo

Wife and I went to Siesta Beach in February to catch an awesome sunset -- and then the full-moon. We're moving from Colorado to the Sarasota area in the Autumn.

@@meganduncan7795 We sold our Colorado house May 14th and close June 14. We had eight contracts on 16 showings. We ended up selling the house to the first person who'd submitted a contract -- cash and no inspection. Meanwhile, we've rented an affordable Airbnb cottage in Dade City Florida for 1.5 months so we can be picky about the house we purchase. We're probably going to end up just south of Sarasota in the Venice-North Port area which in our price range house-wise. Our Sarasota realtor says there are bidding wars going on down there just like Denver. Gerry Lavelle

I love this Beach!! I went in May of this yr and I had the best time! So I had watch a video that brought back so many great memories!! It was definitely not that pack lol

man...I'm bummed I didn't know about this beach when I came to visit FL last OCT. Love the water! We stayed at Clearwater Beach for 3 days which was very nice!

This is a "nice" video going south. This is all the condo's & tourists crowds. Had this been a walking tour north, you'd have seen the locals, private homes & a much more natural gathering of people. I've lived here 45 years, out from Ohio, without ANY regrets ! Do NOT step foot on this beach ! If you do, the sugar sand (quartz) will embed into your skin and you will ALWAYS want to be here. You will be back ! BTW, if the Gulf isn't 80-85 degrees, locals won't get in ! lol !

Yes, I agree, the regular rumble sound is quite distracting. I had to mute the sound to enjoy it at all. Otherwise, good.

Played minor league ball there in the early 80s. Some of stayed at the Sea Club 11 on Midnight Pass Rd. Anyway, we hardly ever walked down to the public beach because we could walk across the street through some condos and be right there at the private beach. First time I took a walk on the beach I didn't wear shade. Had never seen sand so white. I barely made it through without going blind, haha.

Great video, I live here, but never go to that beach anymore. Way to many people, parking is really bad, and it seems every year we have either red tide, or flesh eating bacteria. Or sewer spills. Sarasota has grown to big for the roads to handle, and the sewer system to handle the country just wants more people .more taxes, more pollution.

I live on the key. I love turtle beach but if u want a really private beach go to venice beach or the jetty and walk down a little or caspersons
