the vermillion energy is actually WORSE than 4 spots cause you need to keep the pocket separate. best case scenarion is a 2 by 2 box in the very corner. 3 of the box's spots need to be empty, AND the 4 spots on the 2 sides of the box also need to stay blank. imo they should rework it to "if this is in a pocket bigger than 4 spaces, -1 energy." you have to keep the pocket small, but you can still use the pocket. and it would synergize with a pocket build.

The vermilion energy can actually be utilized . If you don’t mind sacrificing a level up, you can create a 1x1 pocket. Not all the blocks you place in your bag are required to be showing. For example a straight line (4x1) you could place three of the squares outside of the bag, leaving only a 1x1 for its own pocket.

When you added the T piece you failed to see that it had the perfect spot in the center for the Crimson Energy as it had 3 empty spots around it.

I rather watch this compared to like brotato or some of the other rogue games , I like the variety of ways you can play this , so many different weapons I would love to see that super bow run, or the a super sword run

Please play more of this game I used to watch every video before bed.

Fluffy Cotton: 2 wands can be affected twice, and up to 4 wands once diagonally...optional is replacing 1 diagonal wand with a mana supply..... Seems like a nice build..

I was trying to do this a while ago, and I did manage to beat the boss, but I took a bad deal and ended up trading the Clarinet I used a lot for a once-per-turn Lute meaning all I could do was whistle. I then proceeded to get no other instruments (not even a Flute, and with SEVERAL re-rolls) for *four floors* until I found a Saxophone. Didn’t read it, cause I didn’t think anything could be worse than the Lute for my build. The Saxophone is a once-per-COMBAT Instrument. I know I made some stupid moves, but *FOUR FLOORS*

I recommend taking a break and coming back to this game later is you don't feel like playing, burnout is often from putting your brain into the same type of work over and over again without break.

I gave up on this game because they are constantly making the game harder for no reason.

Technically it's the movement of the snake charmers flute that mesmerizes the snakes, not the music, But that's supposed to be a 'trade secret'...that obviously isn't secret anymore. lol But even 'just' flute instruments doing double snake charm would still be thematically correct.

I just beat the game first try thanks to just the flute alone. It's... Uh... A pretty good strategy.

I don't agree with you saying that they nerfed shurikens since they weren't a balanced item to begin with. You had common shuriken generators that could make legendary shurikens (which cost 0 energy to use) so you could become unbeatable after the first fight (if you got one). I do think that they did overdid it a bit with the balancing but you shouldn't be able to get an instant win with a single item. Also, many items they "nerfed" are still OP like the splitter, you can't go infinite with just the splitter and rotators like before but getting a booster too or having 2 boosters and a repeater allows you to go infinite easily. It is very difficult to keep the game properly balanced and the shurikens weren't balanced at all so they had to be changed for sure. There are some changes that may look unnecessary but they are a part of a bigger picture and you have to look at everything together.

So the shuriken nerf is basically that you cant find anything higher rarity or same rarity than it? Or is it 35:38 : lucky shurikens allow every other shurikens to give alphas.

Me personaly if something is super busted i personaly love that. It makes it fun to explore and find very broken combos and try to make the run as broken as possible. Personaly this is what roguelikes should be about cause this is whats fun about them. If you keep nerfing everything whats the point in playing roguelike games if you are gonna be keep losing or its just gonna be plain and boring. Personaly thats why i enjoy games like the main game you are currently playing most of the time. The dev does nerf items but its not to make the game not fun but to try to make it worth to get the items which previously were useless. Nerfing games like that would make them interesting, items get some attantion and everyone is having fun plus nerfing some thing to make the game not lag, i can support so again we have fun. Also yeah i personaly have cheat engine this game to see what i can do so yeah... the run was so busted at the end i was gaining 50 spikes per turn but the final boss got me cause well i shouldnt have smacked him like an idiot and just keeped on spaming the items which give me spikes. It was very fun and again thats what i love about the game. If you can make run broken, you are gonna have fun. You might even crash the game but thats the whole point of trying to break the game.

Yeah, the Dev has too much of a bent on nerfing everything so no one will want to play the game. I wish I never bought it.

haven't finished watching yet, but, I'd bet putting 4 vermillion energy in a pocket would work based on the wording...

A game like this should not stray away from letting the player feel powerful. Nerfs that fix something that breaks the game are valid, but nerfs like that one on the windmill are just bad game design.

Wait how did they "fix" the shurikans? Did they lower the rate of getting alpha sfar or chain star or what? I mean you sacrifice all defense and magic item room to make that build work so you're a glass cannon

I like what they did with the blacksmith but they cost way too much now.

this is the one thing i hate about this game the dev all way nerf item that people find that is fun and will enjoy but no they just nerf the fk out of that item buff the mob to the point u can not get pass then just of what to say they made a hard roguelike like this game in god dam beta why not let then item be op in beta then when the full game come out then nerf ever thing like i keep have all my favo build i use to play just not working anymore doing to the dev see a youtube video and go out of they way to nerf it and then add new item to replace that broken item with the item list of this game getting bigger and bigger like u be lucky to find something that can work like i play about 2 to 4 run and so far i got no useful item of my build i try to make or about to make
