The enemy needs to be stunned for a long time. An enemy is stunned when you dodge or parry their attacks and attack them. When you repeat this process a couple times, they’ll be stunned for longer than usual. At that point, you can throw them multiple times. They can also be stunned for that long by using a Focus move that stuns them for a while. The best one for this, in my experience, is Vertical Strikes.

Christoph explained it perfectly. The only other thing I could add is I think there's a special sound effect you'll hear when an enemy goes into a super stunned state. Play around with it and listen closely. If this information is wrong, I apologize. But I do remember there being a special sound for when they're stunned/super stunned when I last played some months ago.

These guys explained it well but you can also do it if the enemy's open for an execution (the Y + b buttons are visible) which you can play around with to just bully them.

Djisso LOVES doing that, lol Except, I've been reading/hearing that Sloclap changed the scoring system again with the most recent update, and now performing takedowns on enemies who have high health rewards more points now. So I'm not sure if it's even worth it anymore to beat the junk outta enemies anymore, or just break their posture asap and then perform a takedown. I haven't been able to play and test this lately, but if someone knows what exactly is the best way to play for high scores, that'd be great.

Oh Actually that’s a habit which followed me since they introduced the new scoring system. At the time, I was trying to get the highest possible score on each level and takedowns would end the encounter abruptly, preventing me from getting more points by just dragging the fight a bit longer. And even in a context where Points do not matter, I would still not perform takedowns 🤔

@@Djisso that will actually make it harder, in Arenas takedowns pause the timer when you're in a capture/man hunt/time attack stage. And the scoring system also encourage you to use takedowns whenever you can. The Yellow colour in your score actually meant it will give you the most points, using takedowns when your score is at yellow will bring the most points. The more health they have when they're SB the more point you get. Throwing them off stage can also bring alot of points. I also think/play like you do until a Sloclap Dev give me this wisdom lol.

I did get gold for some challenges but I honestly don’t know how I got them (the requirements). For some challenges, I beat the targeted time by 15 seconds and still got no gold. I am actually clueless

@@Djisso it depends on challenge type, survival gets u gold if u take less than 6 hits, performance if u exceed the 3rd stamp score by 1K+ if not more, and anything that’s timed has a hidden 4th time requirement that’s faster than the 3rd stamp one

"Rookie" for example is 1:10 3 stamps, but gold requires 0:45. There's a steam guide for all gold goals by JAG.

Make sure you have the newest version updated and then it should show up in the main menu

@@kayveldman9501 Thanks for the reply but as it turns out, I'm a dohnut, because a few hours after posting that question I was playing Sifu and realised that I hadn't actually tried quitting out of the game after dying (LoL - Doh) for some reason, I assumed the Arena Mode would show-up at the window where we choose which level we want to play / start at.....I was clearly wrong and a muppet as I ended-up finding the arena mode once my brain kicked-in to gear !! So again, Thanks for the reply and apologies for my boneheadedness !! The Arena's are a quality addition to the game imo.....The whole game is quality to be honest.

If you hold the left stick or directional key on keyboard that they enemy is, you can direct any attack, if someone is behind you for example and you want to hit them, do forward back instead of back toward. You will do a spinning back kick instead of the palm strike.

I forgot to include this but this applies to literally every strike in the game, and directional throws. Hold the left stick or directional key for whatever direction you want the attack to go and it will go there. However the only move that's different is the crotch punch, crotch punch you just tap whatever the direction is twice. And it will direct it accordingly

They changed scoring system now. You need to be more efficient. There should be very little downtime now. When an enemy is available to be punched, he should be being punched almost all the time
