In my experience, the P229 just might be the best handgun on the planet. I have owned, and still own, a bunch of pistols, but the P229 is still my favorite.

My P229 is stamped SigArms. I have over 5000 rounds though it. 4000 40SW and 1000 357SIG. Love it! 🇨🇭🇩🇪🇺🇸

Just found your video.. bought my 229 nitron in 2015 I think lol .. ive got about 25 years experience with all sorts of 1911s 92fs glocks m&p etc lol .. the 229 is sooo nice out of the box best auto hand gun I’ve ever had the pleasure to use .. great video

CPO Sigs are a GREAT DEAL too! I picked up a 357 SIG P226R for under 450 then I added Trijicon HD Night Sights, added P224 Slide Stop and Decocker Lever the type used on the Legion and I added the Cylinder and Slide Tactical Trigger, Hammer, Sear Drop in Kit. With that Addition of Hogue G10 Checkered Grips I turned a CPO pistol into a DIY Legion Pistol and I have been using it as a Daily carry and a IDPA Match pistol! I believe LEO Trade ins are AWESOME DEALS! I have purchased Several Glocks and a couple of Sigs including one of my P229 in 357 Sig and the first thing I do when I get a LEO Trade in unless it is an UNISSUED Pistols is to REPLACE ALL SPRINGS and on my P229 I replaced the barrel because it was a 2007 pistol and it look that it had been fired allot but the Frame and Slide were in GREAT Shape and I was able to get a New P229 357 and 40 barrels really cheap a couple of years ago. I love 40SW and 357 SIG so I always get the other barrel barrel so I can shoot both caliber in the pistol that I buy. Great Video!

The problem with older Sig is price can be high I have a German made Sig 228 so the value changes if you get older American made Sig not so bad. I do like this grip compared to standard grips on my 228 it just feels better in my hand.

My Sig came with the E2 grips and smaller decocker and it still made same makes on the frame .

Wow, I bought a P226 9mm (NIB) for $599 back in January right before the pandemic madness. The store manager tried to talk me into buying two of them, should of listened huh...🤘

I have a Coastguard special addition P229. I love it.

I bought a police series sig p229 elite . My screws got lose the first time shooting got these grips and incredible. What a awesome pistol my edc now and also invested in the trl 8 tac light and laser for rail and also the best purchase was the sig romeo 1 pro red dot. What a sight. I am faster at getting on target and accurate is amazing. Not cheap upgrade but well worth the purchase for the romeo 1 pro. Everyone is going to red dots and now I see why.

I had retired my P229 because my trigger finger barely reached. I changed to the E2 and brought the gun back int service.

E2 grip feels and looks great BUT doesn't do well when my hand gets sweaty

Davidson's has used LE GUNS popping and just picked up a P239 used LE 375.00$ so bought my employee one for XMAS. I've sent probably ten Sigs in to The Custom Shop and happy with the work. It's not Cylinder&Slide million dollar but they run! I'm gonna E2 on P220 r I got used recently. Good video!

I love the grips. You'll love them if your the type that upgrade's Glock's with Talon grips.

Friend of mine bought one for 5:25 he got it for they wanted 595 for it came in a blue plastic box with two 12 round magazines and one extra magazine which was the 15 shot night sights excellent condition came with two sets of rubber grips is a great bar you have the sand what they go for you could still get a brand new Glock 23 put just about $530 maybe a little bit more today they keep going up these handguns and they're always out of stock with them if you see one that you like buy it don't wait

Honestly, Got a 2008 Police officer trade in model P229 .40 S&W. The gentleman had seven different 229s all cambered in .40 S&W, no 9mm and some were 2006-07 and other were 2009-11 and had the old school circular trigger guard and rubber or plastic grips. I choose the 2008 E2 model. It had about 900 rounds through it in 2017. It had a little wear and tear on the E2 grips and nitron slide. I bought it for $489 with 3-12 rd .40/.357 magazines and Siglite night sights. I brought it home and immediately ran it through my degreaser and oil scrub and got the rust spots out of the grips and slides in no time. I ordered a .357 Sig barrel for $135 brand new from Sig and got it 5 days later. So, for a little over $600, I got a perfectly fine, .40/.357 handgun with three factory mags and upgraded grips and sights that never had a failure to feed in either barrel and shot like a 9mm with no issues at all. Best handgun I ever had. Sig, Beretta and H&K just make beautiful, reliable and quality firearms. You just can't go wrong.

Traded for an older stainless model with the two piece rosewood grips and one of the grip screws is stripped. Probably going to go with this upgrade kit 😅

Love my P229 with these grips. The P229 is my favorite hand gun. Would love to find an older service used one for a decent price in the 226

My Sig P226 Extreme is worth EVERY penny I paid for it brand new. It is a work of shooting art.

Need some help: I'm cross shopping a Sig p229 elite (would prefer the enhanced elite with the more pronounced beavertail, but it's not being made any longer) vs a 229 legion. I have smaller hands and was not a fan of the legion G10 grips. I have briefly owned a 229 DAK in .40 cal, and I loved the way that gun felt in my hands with stock grips. It was a LEM turn in model. Are the E2 grips standard on the current elite model? People with larger hands complain about them, which makes me think they would be perfect for me.

Is that a CPO? It looks kinda rough.

Do you notice a slight movement in the A2 grips now that they are on the M11-a1…I installed these grips and have a noticeable slight forward/backward movement in the grips and wonder if it’s maybe something I did wrong?

Number of comments regarding German made Sigs, before announcements by sig, they are closing Germnay factory. Expect those 40 cal to increase in value.

I like E2 grip they have more aggressive texture and firmer on my hands than the regular ones.

The slide serations look weird . It has a rail so it isn't old . I never saw one like that before .

I had a Sig 229 with them on. I messed up the trigger bar spring trying to reinstall the E2 grips. They can be a pain to remove and reinstall.

ehh. For someone like me, i got small hands. The factory grip is WAAAAY to big. I have to break my grip to do everything. Also, i would love to see a $200 p226. $380 is the cheapest i have ever seen them.
