I have the 40cal in SA/DA. ABSOLUTELY love it. The extender I have on the 12rd magazine makes it a full size for my home, and then the flush 10rd for carry if needing more concealment . Can shoot the 40 all day, every day with minimum recoil due to the balance of the firearm. Not many vids out there anymore on this one. Thank you for doing it, and keeping it real. I also love how it takes magazines from 3 different weapons (p224, p226 and p229).

I purchased one several years ago in 40 cal, then immediately bought the 357 SIG barrel. I found it very easy to get used to the DAK trigger. Maybe it's because I spend a lot of time running revolvers and the triggers are very similar. I don't know why some people had a hang up about it.

Handled a P229 DAK at the store last week. Love how the grip is contoured to your hand. And the double action is almost as light as a single action

Sig like that are a rare gem to find but have a lot of value

I picked up my Sig P224 SA/DA SAS 9mm during the pandemic. I absolutely love it. It’s the most slept on pistol. It is now discontinued and because of that it is very hard to find holsters. Even harder since I’m left handed. Vedder has the best so far. Anyway have fun with it.

Picked up the p224 in .40 S&W. Love the feel and was able to get two boxes of .40 while I was at it in hollow points. This is in the Atlanta area. Needed it for a compact fit into my console safe in my vehicle.

If I could carry in this hellhole, that pistol would be a serious consideration. Sig reliability is forever. First duty pistol I ever shot - and it was a long long time ago - was a secret service first generation p226 of a friend. Had the first set tritium sights come to think. Was a Sig fan ever since.

I have a sig p224 DAK and would like to see a video of how to field strip it. I am having a problem because of the DAK trigger.

What version do you have? I just bought a Sig P226 DAK and my first pull is about 6 pound with the first reset being 8 pounds. How did you get the hammer half cocked? I tried to but I couldn’t figure it out

Will the sig p229 or sig p226 mag fit the p224?

Hey thanks for the review. I have a p224 I bought a few years ago. I agree, very nice, solid gun. I Do not shoot it as well as my p226 or p229. How about you? Shorter barrel and smaller grip I think makes it a little harder to shoot but I do better with my G42. Keep up the good work, good channel.
