This gun is my favorite as well. It has its own pillow on my bed.

Somehow snagged one from Sportsman’s (also in CA) and shot it for the first time yesterday. Out of the dozen handguns that I own, this one is now my best shooting. Thanks for the great review - it was instrumental in my decision to get one and I’d been waiting for 2.5 years to find one. I just wish that Inforce still sold that light. I had to go with a FDE TLR-1, but it doesn’t really match the gun well like the Inforce’s color.

I carry this for work, have a wheelgun hold out. Californias gun laws arent too bad if you just ignore them.

I recently converted my Tacops into a Scorpion. Bought Black G10 scorpion grips, 224 slide lock lever and decocker from Osage county guns. Now it looks like a hybrid Legion/Scorpion pistol.

Picking mine up in 10 days I can't wait, it will be my first fire arm

I live in Cali and waited 6 months to get this pistol. But it definitely was worth the wait! Also agree about the FDE Inforce light looking the best on this gun. I was lucky to find 2 of those lights at Ammo Bros lol. Only needed one but got an extra one just in case.

I buy a gun about once a month. Sometimes I go into my LGS and just pick one out of whatever they have. When they put this one out on display I had to get it, it’s a Sig so I knew it as of good Quality but it’s the color and grips that said buy me. Since I’ve had it its become one of the favorite guns I’ve ever owned. It’s reliable, never had a malfunction and with good ammo is as accurate as anything I’ve shot. Most of all it’s BEAUTIFUL.

Rented this yesterday and wow it's a smooth shooter and that reset is short!

I compete with a sig sp2022 in 9mm and wanted to get one. I’m looking at paying 1800 on GUnbroker, as I can’t find it for cheaper. Like you, I don’t own a ton of guns, but I’m always collecting more. I wish we had more on our roster and that prices weren’t so crazy. Great video. I’m a knife collector above all else, but I do shoot constantly and I compete in stee challenge uspsa once a month. Love my p226 extreme. I live in California too. This and my 92fs are my favorite pistols.

My only gripe with the P226 Scorpian with Hot loads of 9mm the G-10 grips flex and move around everytime I shoot. But the Scorpian is a Fantastic Shooter.

Great review. I’ve seen a handful of reviews and pics; it’s seems the FDE color isn’t consistent. Is it just the lighting of videos or pics. Does anyone know if the color has been the same with sig fde guns?

It was a toss up between this one and the p229. I am going to get the 226 for round capacity and grip length due to my big paws. Thank you for the review it did help me out.

Hey Jake! 1st off awesome video! Have you looked into the H&K p2000? I would highly reccomend this one for left handed shooters. It feels very similar to the p226.

I have the extreme version and cannot shoot straight with the damn thing to save my life yet I drill bullseyes with my G17, I do not understand what I'm doing wrong.

Great review, how do you feel about the trigger guard? My finger tends to hit it when I decide to shoot but maybe that’ll improve. I’m used to the hk p2000 with plenty of space. Other than that it’s perfect

Just bought this gun 2 days ago. "For vain reason", not vain at all. This gun is bought for the color so it makes sense that any accessories should match as well.

Helped my parents move out of thier houses (2 houses because they separated but live together again) but they said they'd give me a few grand for the help. Man I want a 226 scorpion 😂

The Shadow 2 being the current king of pistols. I’m not saying this to pea on the P226 because they are great pistols, but because U.S. shooters very rarely look at CZ. Try one, let us know what you think. And the S2 Optic Ready, if you want that RMR will blow you away. It’s why it is the dominant competition platform. Laterz.

Do you mind me asking what you paid before fees ...? I’m looking at around 1800 plus out of art are fees and drosfees etc. I’m about to pull the trigger on one but I’m worried I might be paying a little much, as I also see one from my hometown of Santa Clara county for 2400 on gunbroker on 4.20.21. Yikes.

I can’t find that light

I just bought a used sig 226 extreme in 40. Its ca compliant but I live in another state. Guessing someone from ca moved here and got something else. Are the ca sigs as reliable as non ca sigs. I haven't gotten to shoot it yet as there is too much snow to get to where I shoot. Right now I'm kind of riding the fence if I want to keep it or just get a new slide for it. Any thought would be awsome. Thanks much. Great video too

Hi there! Thank you for the video! I realize your gun doesn't have mag safety, does it? Because I bought mine, and it has mag safety which I cannot fire when no mag inserted! That's really annoy! Do you know how to remove that function?
