Had my P365 now for a couple months and it has been flawless. Trigger is excellent as you stated, KS. ThE P365 is pretty much ready to go out of the box thanks to the awesome x-ray sights and grip texture. I'm getting the same finish wear on the side of the barrel. Not an issue to me. If you're looking around for a BB pistol I would recommend this one kzfaq.infoUgkxnX9wE_Q8zvF75Y5iWzTU3Q4FlrtyGApQ . I ordered two BB pistols from Dan Wesson and this one is so much nicer than the other one. It's a well built gun. Can't say that about the other one. I thought the Mag was pretty easy to load. I also just lock the spring back and fill up the hole with 16 BB's with no sweat. Easily remove the rear part of the handle from the bottom with the Mag removed to access the CO2 chamber. Sweet. Very nice painted sights on both ends. Doesn't have blowback but the gun is rated at 410 fps the blowback edition is 365 fps.Didn't really know much about BB guns before but now I see that Umarex makes some fine BB guns. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer CO2 air pistol than this one I think. Just seems flawless. It even states on the packaging Glock perfection. I think my next Airgun may very well be an Umerex. Oh and if you really want a blowback (don't think amazon sells the Glock w/blowback) you might consider the Beretta APX by Umarex. But that gun is only rated at 310 fps. All things being equal, if it were me I'd buy the Glock again in a heartbeat :)

Great update. I also use the front accessory rail as a left thumb hold while holding the end of my right thumb clear of the slide. My 365 is also an x-ray sight model and I have had absolutely zero problems or issues with it. Love the gun's accuracy, capacity and ergonomics. I also agree that sometimes we have to return a weapon for fine tuning - they are complex functioning, precise, mechanical devices that can suffer glitches. As long as the manufacturer fixes them, it happens rarely, it's all good. Love my P365!

Mine came in last week and it ran like a scalded cat. Put mixed ammo brands and grains as well as hollow points. Not a single issue. Accurate as heck and I didn't think it was snappy at all for that small of a gun. I loved it. Put about 300 rounds through her. Had to shoot one handed, because of a cast on my off hand, and it did great. The only issue was with the last shot hold open. Both new mags had it happen first go and it happened a couple of times after. Think that will work itself out. I've seen the same thing with new glocks, cz's and even a kimber. They too worked in and no more problems. I was worried about the critical defense ammo but it ran like butter. It's my everyday carry now and looking forward to working with it. The X-ray green sight is amazing.

Thank you for your view on this gun. We have 5 of these in the family ranging from a first run up to one with only 500 through it. Our first run one has just over 4k on it. None have had any issues at all. So, we are very happy. Also, none of us have owned a Sig before so no Fan boy issues here. We are normally a Kimber / Springfield family....but we all agree on this P365 and funny,,it's all we carry now.

I’ve been on a wait list for 3.5 months at my LGS, finally got my p365 last week and put about 600 rounds in. No malfunctions. Sweet shooting gun, I highly recommend. I took it apart to see if I have any peening, and it turns out that I do. But if nobody showed me where to look, I would’ve never found it. I’m ok with it because it’s not on a critical location like the rails or breech. Ps: The hotter the loads you shoot, the more it will peen. I will try some +p+ and see how it goes.

I first ran into this pistol at a shooting range that had one to rent, but did not have any in stock that were for sale. I rented it and fell in love with it. So I rented it again about two weeks later and again loved it. It took me three months to finally find one in stock at a local store, but as soon as I did find one, I walked out of the store with it minutes later. So far I really like this pistol. Very accurate for me just like the one I rented. The one I rented three months before had standard Sig Night Lights on it, but the one I bought had the Xray sights. Really like them.

My personal SIG P365 is up to 1200 rounds so far. I have only experienced a couple of jams, but they were OPERATOR INDUCED. I have large hands, and I also shoot left-handed. With a "standard grip", my left thumb actually covers the ejection port and causes the ejected case to fall right back into the breech and jam the action. I knew what happened right away because I felt the brass hit my left thumb. Once I tuned my grip and made sure to keep my thumb held away from the ejection port, I had no further issues. Even deliberate limp-wristing has not stopped this P365. I am very happy with this gun, and I feel totally confident in carrying it for every day use.

I'm one of the lucky ones who got the order into Cabela's before they ran out. I absolutely love my 365. One interesting issue with the takedown lever. After removing the slide, the takedown lever will pop up almost to the pre-slide removal position. While there, it is impossible to reattach the slide as the takedown lever won't allow the slide to move all the way back. I called Sig and they told me it is a known issue and in order to put the slide back on the gun, simply partly depress the slide release while pushing the takedown lever back down to the slide removal position. That allows you to put the slide back on the gun. It worked as they said. As far as making it loud, the gun has been flawless. It shoots as accurately as my Glock 19X and for a gun of this small stature, that's pretty cool. I recently went through my qualification for retired LE with the 365 and shot a perfect target. Also shot with my 19X. Very little difference between one target and the other. Needless to say, the 365 is now my EDC.

I carry a Sig Sauer Full frame 45 cal P220 Nitron, single stack, OWB side carry. It's highly customized to the tune of about $1,800.00. Nothing better. So I was looking for a back up, defensive carry only, micro. Of course I looked at the Sig 365 over the counter. At the range last week I was able to rent a newer P 365 and bought 100 rounds 124 gr FMJ ammo. By chance right in the next lane a shooter was running his Glock 43. He was interested in trying the P 365 so we swapped pistols for 50 rounds. I am NOT a fan of "compound triggers" and anything having one is an automatic disqualifier for me. Would NEVER own anything with that "funky" trigger. Not to be rude - I agreed to the short exchange. WOW! The Glock was a completely different animal. It felt bulky, cheap, fat, and had that "creepy" trigger (I am pre biased against that funky trigger). After 50 rounds with that plastic monster, and getting the P 365 back, I purchased another 100 rounds and I did a "melt down"! 100 rounds non-stop (only one magazine so as fast as I could load it). No attempt at accuracy. It ate everything and was SMOKING HOT. Trigger felt WAAAY better than Glock. Fit and finish WAAAY better. Fit in my hand WAAAY better. Snappier and more recoil than the plastic monster, but overall the Sig was a MUCH better pistol. I was even more set against the Glock (first one I fired) and decided that Sig was for me. Great opportunity to compare both pistols side by side.

I have owned 40 or so guns in my search for a reliable pistol for CCW. I’ve had my P365 for a little while now, and have put around 1400 rounds of Federal ammo through it at the range and camping. I’ve had one single FTF, and I think it was borderline my fault because I got lazy and let my wrist go limp on that one. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I can’t even tell I’m carrying it on a daily basis. I have a Glock 43 as well, but the P365 prints less for me. I also find that I’m more accurate with the P365 than the G43. To each his own though. I plan on carrying the P365 for a long time as it’s my favorite carry out of my other smaller pistols like the Kimber Micro 9, Glock 43, and Springfield XDS (which I consider contenders to some extent). My p365 just came back from Sig. I have 1100 rounds through the gun now and I noticed the front sight wasn't glowing in the dark so they replaced that. The other issue is that the slide would lock back on an empty magazine as it should. But when I would insert a Fresh Magazine the slide would close on its own. I made certain that I was not hitting the slide release button. The factory replace the slide stop but I'm not convinced but it's fixed after running a hundred rounds through it the other day this happened about 3 times. I absolutely love the gun and and cheering for it but it's hard with these slight imperfections. Probably a lesson for me not to buy a first-generation pistol.

My wife and I rented the P365 at our local indoor range. My thoughts and opinion(we all know about opinions) on the P 365, is I and my wife thought it was a very good little gun. We both shot some pretty nice groups on a silhouette (actual picture of a person) target, and we both hit in vital areas, which tells me the gun(at least the one we were shooting) was pretty accurate. It was a little snappy, but that's to be expected in a gun this size. All in all, we liked it, but my wife likes her S&W 9 Shield PC more, and I like my CCW gun more, but, hey who knows, I may pick one up next year, when all the craziness subsides, and the price comes down.

Good review bought mine last week have not been to the range yet it was made July 29 I really like the gun and the rounds it will hold I think it will be fine

Peening would seem like a stack-up tolerance issue, and as far as 1000 + rounds down range, most people aren't going to fire their CCW to the point of failure and completely exhaust it's life span in a matter of months. I tend to leave that to others and the manufacture, however the 365 is new to market and from a reputable firearms maker and in the end it will be a better product minus the recalls , I'm still considering purchasing one in the future after all the bugs are worked out and they become more available , or someone else makes a better buggy-whip . lol !!!

You mention a carry rotation and I wondered if that included auto loaders only, or some wheel guns. My Q comes from rotating weapons w/much different operating systems and suddenly being confronted w/a deadly force emergency. Forgive an old cop but this runs contrary to my training and experience so that’s the genesis of the comment. Good video, stay safe.

I carry striker fired guns only so the action and manual of arms is the same. Definitely agree with you about training around one method of operation. Thank you and cheers!

I ordered a "gen2" sig p365 last week. It is supposed to have all the bugs worked out. We will see. When I go to the range I will fire my EDC pistol out of the holster with the same defensive ammo in it at the time. If it ever fails it means it wouldve failed in a gun fight. I will never carry it again. That is my rule. So we will see if it holds true with this SIG. My primary EDC is an HK usp compact. I've carried it for 10 yrs with over 5000 rounds through it and it has never failed let alone failed from the holster.

Thank you for the video. Yes , I have heard some real negative things about this gun. Personally I love this gun. It's a Sig, so if it malfunctions I get it fixed.

My 365 keeps on running. Zero malfs 600 rounds. Good sights. Good trigger. Tiny gun though almost too small. Fits my ankle well. Great bug. That's probably where it will stay, backing up a 26, 19 or Shield.

Love you videos. I did hold one of these... like the sights, triggers nice too. I have medium to small hands and some how it still didn't fit my hand right. I think it's where the thumb of the shooting hand doesn't fall in the right place for me.

Thank you very much Alaskan! That’s interesting about how the gun doesn’t quite fit for you. I suppose it further emphasizes that everyone is different and thankfully we have some great options out there! Cheers brother!

Bama Sux I shoot a lot, I'm working 1000 round break in for my CZ 2075 Rami BD and Custom HK VP 9 now. The P 365 is current and likely remain the main EDC. Both have about 400 rounds each. How's your shooting going?

How do you like the 12 round magazine? How much does the 12 round magazine impede conceal ability, if any? Can you post pictures or videos with the 12 round magazine?

I still have some hope for these pistols but a friend of mine just sent his back to sig for the broken firing pin. He only had around 250 rounds through it.

KSGunGuy any chance you could get your hands on (borrow, loaner) a Sphinx SDP subcompact and do a review? The gun came out a couple of years ago and KRISS USA I believe makes them now. The gun has several videos with it having issues with barrel lock up, when it 1st came out. I’d like to see if KRISS has fixed those issues that way the gun can get its proper do. Thanks.

So its the size of a Shield, but with 3 more rounds, and it doesn't have any goofy trigger safety. Im not even a Sig fan but i am interested in this gun.
@slickdaddy126 жыл бұрын
I agree with your thoughts and commentary. I'm a Sig fan and invested in the P320 platform and I was extremely interested in the P365. The problem for me is that I shouldn't have to modify my grip . . the grip that I use on my other edc rotation works and I trained and use. Repetition and training with good grip reinforced muscle memory. Would I remember to change my grip to accommodate the P365 in a self defense situation? Probably not!! Sig has a winner with the P365 and it will do well. Not bashing . . just my thoughts.

Stephan Hall my feeling exactly- which is why I stayed with the Glock platforms (a G19, G29, and G43 owner).

I just bought a 365 born on date 9/2018. I'm a left handed shooter so I wanted the mag release button swapped over. Myself and 5 others tried and failed. But I ran a box of ammo through it with no issues. I sent it in to have the button swapped but when it comes back it's for sale. After all these videos I've seen I've lost all confidence I had in their products

Got news for ya, we had a group of people at a club test the gun and riding the slide was problematic for many. This is NOT a gun that will fit everyone's hand, and be very careful if you wear gloves. Most of us could not shoot it with them. The take down is way too bulky and the slide lock is another potential issue. What we all thought was interesting is how similar the 365 was to the Ruger LC9S especially in shooting characteristics. If you want a gun similar to the 365 folks might want to look around and find a LC9S. I highly advise folks to test fire the gun before purchase. We have already seen a number of used one's come in that just were not the right fit for the impulsive buyer.

Great update. I just picked up my 365. Looking forward to shooting soon. One thing I noticed, with the magazines fully loaded,(10 rds), racking the slide to put one in the chamber seems very rough, stiff. With just 9 rds, racking the slide is much smoother and easier. Have you noticed that with yours?
@KSGunGuy016 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! Congrats on the purchase, I think you’ll love it. The slide hopefully will get easier with time. I haven’t noticed it with mine though. Maybe a tolerance issue? Cheers!
