I want to be able to musky fish so bad man. I’m a broke high schooler who only has a couple cheap buck tails. I caught one before but I’ve been trying forever. I also don’t have a boat which makes it 10 times harder. I fish in Kaukauna WI which holds Muskie but they are very rare. Any advice from shore? I also really need baits so if you guys have any rusty old baits that you never use I’d love to take them off your hands haha. I love your vids.

Robbie this might be the only advice that I will ever have to offer that you don't already know but you've gotta get a retractable gear tether for that remote, clip it to your belt... makes it hands free at a moments notice and you don't have to worry about kicking it off the gunnel in to the lake. Awesome video i''m sure madison is sold out of tube jigs right now!

Got my personal best (50.5 in) sight fishing with a 7 inch senko the day I graduated from High School. Its always epic to see the strike in super clear water!

I'm up near reinlander from Illinois. My boss has 3 boats but hasn't registered them or used them. Idk what his deal is but I'm pissed I can't go fishing on them. Just fished off the pier the other day in shallow ass water. Nothing but red ear, and perch. Doesn't seem like there's anything on the big shallow flat where the pier is so I didn't throw anything for bigger fish. Its like 4 ft 100 yards out.

Try fly fishing for them in the shallows. I rarely have them turn down a big streamer when I'm sight fishing

Common Yall, hit the subscibe! These guys are a joy to watch. The enthusiasm and passion they have is contagious. Im a South Carolina guy envious of the Musky addiction they have. I go once a year to Quebec with the knowledge I get here to hopefully hook up with what they get into a a regular basis. Very helpful tip. Use a stinger hook. Steel/titanium from bend in jig hook with a Owner St-36 hanging from it. The skirt of the tube hides it perfectly

Please let me know if this is incorrect, but why doesn’t he set the hook harder?? I feel like he would loose less fish if he would put the remote down and set the hook better! But still a great video nonetheless

Its the rod setup! Lol.. His rod doesn't have enough backbone for the heavy jig he is using and the thicker diameter single hook. Also rod tip is too whippy and over loading a lot. That causes the hook to bounce off rather then penetrate through the musky mouth. Conclusion, not the right setup for those heavy jigs😉

Robbie, Do you think you would have landed more fish with a different rod? Or would you stick with what you had. I thought that a rod with some whip to it would have loaded up better and drove that hook deeper. Super cool video beside that. The video you guys get is probably the best ive ever seen on any show. I get excited when I see you have post something new. So keep it up. TY much!!

The last time I was in that lake I found out both of my buddies trolling motor batteries were dead and his used outboard motor you had to leave the choke out all the way to make it run. We had to make it all the way back to Mendota that way with like a 10 HP engine and go to work that night. The time before was with my dad in a real boat. He ended up with a muskie if you go out the entrance and hang a left all the way down to the end.

Crazy! If you take your camera to a photography store they’ll clean your sensor so you don’t see the dark spots anymore. I do that at least once a year.

Are these musky on beds? I’m not a Musky fisherman by any means. But I did catch my first one today. Probably about 18 inches long. I was still insanely hyped in a public park lol
