Our cruise adventure continues with a full short day sightseeing in Amsterdam. We designed our own chocolate bars at Tony's Chocolonely, spent far too much in the rubber duck shop, enjoyed Bitterballen on Dam Square, and ate the best fries in the world at Mannekin Pis! And then when we got back on board our ship, the P&O Cruises Ventura, it was time for us to dress up all fancy in black tie for our first formal night!

Hi Kev, The Beach House allows you in on Black Tie night without having to wear Black Tie. It is a Speciality and therefore has an extra charge although it isn't too expensive (especially compared to your rubber ducks lol)

Really enjoyed this vlog Amsterdam looks really good/really nice I love rubber ducks that shop would be right up my street. Amsterdam is definitely on my list and my husband and I would like to go on a cruise after seeing this its making me want to go. Thank you for sharing this us 😊

Amsterdam is one of my favourite Northern Europe cruise port cities - it's easy to get here if your ship docks in Rotterdam too - just a train ride away. Really enjoying this series - glad to have found your channel!

Even better you dont need to take part in black tie night but you can also get away with your normal FM final suits :) at the same time you can also just do your own thing.

I'm stoked that you enjoyed the experience enough to look at booking another in the future. Much as the "black tie" night allows you and Anna (who looks amazing, by the way) to dress up, it's one of the major reasons why I'd steer clear of "British" cruise lines like P&O and Cunard. The US or European lines are more relaxed and while they do have themed nights, they're not as formal as the British ones. I think you might enjoy NCL or Celebrity as your next venture.

Kev I'm late to the channel I was watching your video in Rome and subscribed and hit this playlist!!! Tony's chocolate! I'm an American and randomly saw this brand in a grocery store a few years back and picked up...not only is it GREAT but I love their message. I actually stopped using other brands thanks to research after reading Tony's message. I have got to ask since I'm new here...are you a giant or is Anna a little person. Joking but from the camera angle it appears this way. For context my stepdad was 6ft 10in and my mom is 5ft 2in they were a sight lol And finally I'm glad to hear that yall use your cpap machines. I mentioned my stepdad above...we lost him 16 years ago to sleep apnea. He would not wear his mask unfortunately and his doctor warned him many times about the possible/probable outcome. I really enjoy this channel a lot already (even more than FM which is how I originally found you haha) so thank you and Anna for sharing so much of your life and experiences!

Not having any prices in the duck shop is ridiculous. To me, that would be an invitation to pick up every single duck, one at a time, and ask a member of staff how much it is.

Brother, you can't be serious mate. You are in Amsterdam and you just go to the tourist traps. Amsterdam's historic city is one of the largest and best-preserved in Europe. No offence but you haven't seen anything good....

I feel like that’s down to how you view it. To them they went to places they enjoyed, therefore they did see good things. What’s seen as ‘good’ and interesting to you is different to what other people see as good and interesting.
