When you consider what it’s built on this is an unbelievable engineering project. The pre show of the construction was fascinating and like you said “it’s amazing how the landscape around it has developed since it started”. Even inside the lift was an experience. Great views from the top and hard to believe 50 years or so ago it was just a trading port. It’s amazing what finding oil can create. That cookie was amazing value. 😂 Charlotte does enjoy a gift shop. 😂 So many photo opportunities when you got back down to ground level. Very enjoyable start to this Sandbrook Adventure.

Wot an amazing vlog.had a friend who lived out there for few years and was offered the chance to go but due to health issues i couldn’t so this is the next best thing . I’m the same - I could stand and look at the Burj Khalifa all day. Visited in 2022 and loved it. Gutted that I missed Storm Chaser in the Dubai Mall I was non the wiser! We stayed on Palm Jumeirah. Loved it!

Great vlog guys . We were up there in 2015 .its hard to believe that the observation deck where you are is only about half way up .I wanted to go up near the top but visitors aren't allowed past this level.

When I was out in Riyadh, Dominos was my go to as it was 42 AED for a full meal... thats £9... It was crazy. Thats with a drink and sides!

It’s my dream to go sightseeing in Dubai, I have such an admiration for the burj khalifa and would love to see it in person. the problem is I am not confident about driving in a country with different road rules to us in the uk, hopefully I get there one day, I also have a phobia called megalophobia which is a fear of large structures, i don’t have it very bad but it is still there, great vlog tho guys keep them coming

Not so sure you would have liked to have worked on it as in 2006 riots ensued due to the horrific living conditions, and a human rights watch reported that skilled workers were earning just £2 per day. In 2011 a worker jumped to his death due to not being allowed to leave the country whilst working on it. Built with more or less slave labour who had their passports confiscated. Horrible
