For you guys wondering who haven't seen this anime. Mio the girl after saying the terrible things to arata had a terrible accident where her body was still in the physical world but her soul drifted off into the spirit dimension without her realising it and it was then when she was at the school gates that arata walked passed her that she wasn't innthe real world so in actuality arata didn't just ignore mio he couldn't see her and thus mio knew her soul shortly after wasn't in the real world

The plot is actually that the girl got into an accident the same night she said that, and was in spirit out of her body, but she was actually fighting for her life in a coma. Its honestly a really good movie, its called "Over The Sky", you should watch it if u have time. :)
