Today we're going to learn Philippians 4:8 in Sign Language. We're also going to learn the story of how this verse inspired the creation of Sign Language Verses. Sign Language Verses is a membership site the uses Sign Language in order to memorize scriptures.

Is the reason the cost is in USD because the site is through a US platform? I'm in Canada (B.C.) and was hoping when you mentioned the cost, it would be in CAD.

All of the site expenses are in US dollars, and the majority of site users are in the US as well, so that's why we made the decision to use US Dollars

We launched a new membership site called Sign Language Verses. We welcomed 43 founding members who are learning and working alongside me as we put the website together. We will launch the website to the general public in September

I have a question? Are u signing this in true ASL or more of ESL?

Great question, I haven't heard it called ESL before. Yes, these tutorials would be called English Sign Exact, or Pseudo Signed English. That means we use ASL signs, but English grammar and syntax. If the membership site can financially afford it I'd like to have an ASL option in addition to the Signed English option as depending on your purpose for learning there would be an place for both.

Great question Mary, and I did see your subscription that just came through 😊. Woohoo!!! When the website is up and live you will have a spot to manage your account and will be able to cancel your subscription there. If you need to cancel before the site goes live in a few weeks just reach out to me, I'll login to the payment processor, Stripe, and I'll be able to make that change.
