I am currently 17 and I was diagnosed with ptsd, major depression disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and I was diagnosed with adhd when I was very young but the rest age 13 I have been through a lot of things in my life aka traumas to many… I have tried to take my own life before over 400+ times during my middle school years if it wasn’t for my teacher in my freshman year who spotted things that were on my wrist I would not be here today but yes I still struggle with most of these symptoms because of my ptsd flashbacks but I manage and I use my scars to tell my story and I am proud of who I am 😁

On ANTIDEPRESSANTs since 2013 for Chronic Depression, have taken CBT as well not completely though as I feel extremely fatigued all the Time. Precious TIME is flooding rt before My EYEs & can't do Anything about it.. infact.. guilt increases to all the more.. I'm just Breathing that's all & hurt My LOVED 1s as well & Alive on FINANCIAL SUPPORT from My SISTER as well & I hate to be FINANCIALLY Dependent.

You're bound to feel fatigued/lethargic and with the ruminating thoughts a sense of guilt is normal. If you have medication but you're not responding to it in your opinion try to get another medication. Depression's a complex disorder and nothing is easy ..for myself personally the biggest mistake was that I allowed the depression to linger and it became chronic ..the more chronic it became the more difficult recovery started to feel. It has a tendency to GET WORSE with time. Try to get all the help you can for recovery ..be it medicine, medical advice etc. If the treatment you're receiving is not helping ..try something else ..don't wait !

Are you sure you have the correct diagnosis (e.g. could it be bipolar disorder) and medication? It sounds like something isn't working. I'm going to write down some thoughts about your situation. Hope you can find comfort/something useful below. It's good to remember that just because you are struggling, doesn't mean you are failing. Your feelings make sense, it makes sense that you want to get out of this situation, that has been ongoing for years as soon as possible and maybe feel desperate, when you think of all the things that should change/happen at once. The truth is that probably isn't the best way to do things. It might be helpful to set mini goals, start with the very minimum you can do. It's good to remember that if you want to master a habit, the key is to start with repetition, not perfection, as James Clear wrote. It's also good to remember that all of these things you are thinking about, your guilt and the rest are symptoms of the depression. Depression makes these things worse. But you are not only this depression. It might be helpful to differentiate depression from yourself as you would think of any other diagnosis/illness. You have a disorder, you aren't the disorder. When you bully and torment yourself/put yourself down, it's the depression talking, not you. You are a valuable humanbeing, you do matter. You still have time and potential. You are not a lost cause. Some doors have closed behind you, but it doesn't mean that there are no doors ahead. There are good things, better times ahead and they are worth a fight. Also I think no one is too old to look for heroes/role models. Look for inspiration and people who have what you want in a realistic manner. The depression might tell you that it's not possible to achieve what you want. That is just a cognitive distortion. It is possible. Maybe, just for a moment, let go of your guilt and give yourself permission to feel your sister's love for you and your gratitude for her help. She probably wouldn't help you if she didn't care about you. Good to remember that if things were flipped around between you two, you would probably be also helping her or any other loved one. And maybe there will be a time in the future, when you will be able to give her back this love and help. Things might not get as they were exactly before depression and that's alright. Maybe it's more of a journey. Take care. ❤

Dear sir, So far no medicine to permanent cure symptoms. Symptoms can only be suppressed with the help of medicines. The medicines to change the neural system responsible for the depression and PTSD is a part of many researchers and maybe available in next 5 years... We just pray for it. Ketamin drug is used in USA for 3-4 months and helped many people to recover from depression.

My nurse practitioner diagnosed me with mood disorder last week. I went there to explain to him when he last examined me he caused an injury in my groin which resulted in swelling and a lot of pain. I couldn’t sleep due to the pain and couldn’t eat much because he gave a list of diet due to possible hernia.I went back to see him last week telling him I didn’t have the hernia and told him about the pain. He tried to get me on medication and wrote down mood disorder as his diagnose.

Feeling too much sad inside, gut feeling, crying, want to talk to close ones but they are avoidant n particularly not available at the moment ..so hard to feel that I have no human being, close one to talk to when we are still surrounded by many including our own people. They only make us to feel lonely n sad, that turns into depression when we already have clinical depression, where we need help from others to cope up with 😢
