So true cause when I was in elementary school some kid called me pennywise because “im white and wear makeup” I had lipstick on for a Christmas pageant in 4th grade, then my teacher was like “oh yk boys are mean when they really like you” “ boys will be boys and their just joking” like no there’s a difference

There was this girl who always gave me the cold shoulder and tried to be mean to me in high school. i’m now 26 with two children with her. I think the reason why people who bully you sometimes like you is because they try to to do whatever it takes to try to act like they don’t like you and hide their love if that makes any sense.

I just gotta say something, when I was younger, I had a crush on my bully. He would bully me for anything, looks, friends, and personality. So over one of the summers after 6th grade I had a huge glow up and when we came back to school, he bullied me for a week then asked me out on a date! After that we started dating and to this day (11th grade) we still have a very healthy relationship. So that kinda proves being mean does show love but, believe what you believe.

When i was in 3rd grade i used to get bullied a lot by this group of boys, and when i told my teacher about it she just said "aww ignore them, they're just trying to get your attention because they like you 😊" like, girl wtf dym?! one of them literally just pulled my hair! 😭 she didn't even lecture them. One time i was on my way home when one of them ran up behind me and 'accidentally' bumped into me causing me to fall over and cutting my knee, i came back home crying and told my mom about it, she went to school with me the next day to report the boys who's been bullying me and that was the only time the teachers actually did something

When I was in public school, I got verbally bullied mainly by this one guy that was in my friend group. After years of getting bullied my mom finally found out and so we went to the principle and the school counselor. The principle, counselor, and both of my parents told me that he probably liked me. I was younger, immature, and depressed and was confused and believed it a bit. Now that I am older and took a step back and analyzed the situation that happened to me, I realized that he definitely did not like me he just wanted to be rude and was hiding his insecurity. Also, if someone is bullying you then please don't hide it, it will ruin you now and in the future. Another thing is that if someone is bullying you and someone tells you that they probably like you don't believe it, no one would be rude to you if they truly liked you.
