"'Tornado of Souls' by Megadeth became iconic for a reason. In the age of Instagram musicians, you can probably find hundreds of covers of this song, because it has had such an impact. However, most of the time, you will find guitar solo covers or drum covers played by an individual. Our cover is very unique, because we did it as a real band. From the legendary guitar solo, through the vocals and amazing audio production by Jacob Hansen to a real music video, we are bringing the full experience. We did our very best and honoured this classic the way it deserves."

@@PhilBassBx According to Jacob Hansen who mixed it, it is a combination of DarkGlass, SansAmp, RAT overdrive plugins with a bit of DI. I think the Bartolini single coil pickups make a bit of a difference too.

While I would of preferred a different song (everyone has their favorites) I have to say you guys nailed it. The whole band hit this perfectly. Have your current cd on replay all day long while i work. I loved the old singer but you guys knocked it out of the park on this new cd (undivided) and has become my favorite release of 2023 even edging out Theocracy which is no small feet. Keep up the excellent work. Jota has found his mark and fits in perfectly.

🤘🤘 Amazing vocals and probably better than Dave. 😅😂 I mean lot of ppl dont like Dave vocals but this is listenable, if you know what i mean. LOl. But yeah the instrumentation went a little soft (in my opinion), considering this is like a power/heavy metal version, but that doesn't mean i didnt like. Instead i loved it. Love the sick solos and overall a 9/10 from me.

What are you doing? Since when is Megadeth Christian and/or a Christian band? And the opening line of this song has "damn" in it! What's going on? What's next Metallica, Ozzy Osborne, Slayer, or Pantera cover songs? We have to stay set apart from the world. You're a Christian band, blood bought by Jesus Christ. You don't have to do this. You just stick with Signum Regis and write for Jesus!

Hi Jesse, here is an answer that Ronnie provided to the Hardline magazine: In 2020, you were asked in an interview whether you are a Christian band, which you denied. However, the Wikipedia article states that you play 'Christian Metal'... What do you say to that? Ronnie: I don’t even read what they are writing about us on Wikipedia, so I have no influence there. This will always be an open question for our band, because there is no universal definition of “What is a Christian band?” I am a Christian, I wrote many Christian lyrics, but I haven’t started the band to become a music ministry. I just loved music and metal in particular. The majority of our band members are not Christians. So who are we? From my point of view, we are a “normal” metal band with a list of songs that have Christian lyrics. Not all songs are like that, but the list is quite long and I am happy that we play these songs live and I feel good while singing choruses with lyrics like “You are my guide in the night - I want to follow your light”. That’s the truth. I keep thinking about Helloween in this context. They have Christians in the band, they have Christian lyrics (like Lavdate Dominum for example), but they do entertainment too and they have the freedom to do it. That’s the position that would be comfortable for me too. I remember that when we released “The Seal Of The New World” album, there was a song “Kings of the Underground” and it’s a song about us. About our music journey as a band, the struggles, the ups and downs. Then I read some comments that went something like “Oh, so you guys are not a Christian band anymore?”, because the lyrics were not biblical. I can tell you, such comments are a bummer. I like to put personal emotions into lyrics and in order to write something honest and authentic, you have to be inspired. Sometimes I am inspired to write this, sometimes to write that and I don’t like to be policed by people who put me into some box that they created. So overall, I’d just say this: I think every listener can categorize us as he/she wants to. I’d rather let the art speak for itself.

Thanks for your reply. So, you're not a Christian band. I hope whoever is a Christian in the band (Ronnie?), is witnessing to the other band members and telling them the gospel so that they go to heaven and not hell when they die. I used to be in this same situation years ago. I was a Christian, but found myself compromising, because I was unequally yoked with unbelievers and also playing in bars, playing Metallica etc. God convicted me of this. Because of this confusion of you seeming to be Christian, yet are compromising big time with playing Metgadeth, I can't support you anymore. Either you're totally for God or against him. I'm praying that God will shake you guys up.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with playing Metallica or Megadeth (or in the past we did a Helloween and Yngwie cover), if the lyrics are not anti-God or pro-sin, but I don't want to argue about that. Maybe you are right, maybe not. That's OK. We all have our own conscience and we change our minds over the time. That's life and progress of every sinner, I guess. I understand why you won't support us anymore and I respect that. People like you (absolutely no offense here) are the reason, why I never promote our band as a "Christian band" despite all the Christian lyrics that we have. I know that we don't meet the criteria of many people in the Christian metal community and I never intended to mislead anyone into supporting us. That puts us into a weird position where we are too Christian for the secular scene and not Christian enough for the Christian scene, but again: that's OK. It is what it is. God bless! Ronnie

Hi Ronnie, thanks again for your reply. You must be a very busy guy, so taking the time to respond is surprising! I challenge you to look at the people and bands you are listening too and playing. Music is too easy to compromise with, as we can be easily swayed, if we like a certain style etc. God wants us to be set apart from the world. It's one thing to go for a certain sound, but to play songs from bands who are rebels against Jesus Christ is quite another. I know God would want you to be radically different from these bands, and tell them their urgent need to get saved before it's too late. God is holding you accountable Ronnie. Sure, still play and write songs, but listen to what God would want you to associate with and whom. Jesus reached the lost not to be one of them, but to lovingly convict them of their sin, and to show them the way to everlasting life. For example, just the band name Helloween is evil and dark, not glorifying Christ. In Christ there is no darkness. You have such an opportunity to really take a stand and go all out for Jesus. He's watching you and one day you will give an account about your witness for Christ with these lost band members who desperately need to put their faith in Jesus alone for their salvation. If I could challenge you to watch that video I sent you, I think it will impact you and your lost friends who play with you. Sure, it's hard hitting, but I bet you could take it. It's from a pastor who's super passionate about reaching the lost, plus waking Christians up as well with remembering what our mission is in this life with reaching the lost. Take care my friend
