Brilliant performance from Neal here. I've always loved Neal's voice. From the backing vox in all the tracks back in the day. He always added a real melodic vibe to the Sputnik tracks. Also, went to see Neal fronting Sputnik in Edinburgh in one of the FINAL gigs on the final tour. He was fantastic, and given the circumstances really stepped-up to the job and more than represented that Sputnik event with Tony and Jenny. I have a lot of respect for him, and carrying off an entire tour as the lead, that took real balls. I was kinda contemplating going to a loveless gig on the tour, but, watched an interview with Neal at his place and he said it all went tits-up when a band member who works with Wet Leg (Who I love & seen live recently) had to fulfill other commitments with Wet Leg and pulled-out. Bummer.
