July 29th, 2006 was a day-off on the Heima tour, so today we're sharing this recording of Vaka (Untitled 1) which was filmed a little bit after the Heima tour. Filmed outside Sundlaugin, the bands old studio in Álafoss.

I used to listen to this song over and over, like a meditation of sorts, when my father was dying. Their music was like a tonic to me during a very hard time in my life.

It's also because another Heima version is them playing completely unplugged, so there's a lot of wind and whatnot. They played that windy version in a protest where people didn't want a dam to be built.
