This is from the album ( ). The name of the album is a pair of parentheses. There are no track names on the album sleeves, so the tracks were known as "Untitled #1" ... "Untitled #8". "Popplagið" is a code name for "Untitled 8". Then what the singer Jónsi is singing on that album is not Icelandic. It is not any language but instead it isvocalised syllables the band calls "Hopelandic" in English. It's great, isn't it? My favourite Sigur Rós track is "Untitled #7" a.k.a. "Dauðalagið" ('death song'), the preceding track to this on ( ). It is not a happy tune. Live versions are very good, e.g. live in Dallas, TX, june 7, 2017. If you'd like to try something completely different, try anything by Anna von Hausswolff (a Swedish musician), for example "The Mysterious Vanishing of Electra" (official live video) from her channel.

Thanks for the information, you seem to be very knowledgeable about this band. I really liked this song and enjoyed listening to it, along with hoppipopla, (the only other Sigur Ros song I've heard). I will be listening to more of their work soon. I'll talk a listen to Anna Von too ☺️

@@the_modus_project Thanks. I am a big fan of Sigur Rós, and the live concert in Helsinki, Finland in 2013 was the best gig I've been to. (Not that my experience is that expansive but still.)

@@the_modus_project Not that I know of. The concert in Dallas in 2017 has good audience recordings here on YT, but it isn't a continuous video. But it is very good still.
