Hero and premium chests are actually quite good (not all premium chests, of course). And once you're beyond a certain level, it is actually worth it to spend gems in order to refresh energy (but not before your energy cap is at least 100). And he literally says in the video that the SIM pack is worth it (unless you are going to play all fights manually). Which all leads to this conclusion: you're either being overly sarcastic and will likely misguide some new players with this comment, or you're a new player yourself who has got lucky with some other chest (probably one with legendaries), and didn't get enough gold characters from hero or premium chests, and tried refreshing energy when the cap was really low or before completing campaign. If you're in the second category, let me tell you this: chests in this game are mostly a scam. So, its better to spend your gems on something which is guaranteed, instead of just gambling it away. A hero chest gives you a guaranteed character. It will most likely be a silver, but you're unlocking a character directly. And the premium chest has an 8% chance of unlocking a specific character, which is one of the best chances you can get out of all chests in the game (only the World Domination Duo has better chances). However, 8% is still not a very good chance, so you will need to spend enough gems to get that character. And when it comes to refreshing energy, you should use that energy to play more fights in heroic campaign, in order to get more credits and gear materials. But don't start refreshing energy before you finish heroic campaign and get your energy cap to at least 100. Whether you buy the SIM pack or not is up to you. If you have the time to play the fights manually every day, you don't need to buy it. But if you don't have the time, it's better you do. However, if you're in the first category, just stop misguiding new players. They look into the comment section looking for suggestions, and to see if someone else is having similar issues like them. They don't need people like you to misguide the crap out of them, where there are people who will actually help them instead

For early game, yes. For late game he is the worst character in the game. I mean he's decent for a tank character but there are still more better tank characterd
