The Panerai Submersible Marina Militare Carbotech will enable its 33 fortunate owners to enjoy a unique experience: taking part in a training session with Comsubin, the Diving and Commando Group of the Italian Navy. Hardly anyone who is not a member of this select award-winning circle can take part in this experience, which today Panerai is offering exclusively to its bravest and most passionate clients.

MOVEMENT: Automatic mechanical, Panerai P.9010 calibre, executed entirely by Panerai, 133⁄4 lignes, 6 mm thick, 31 jewels, 28,800 alternations/hour. Incabloc® anti-shock device, two barrels.
FUNCTIONS: Hours, minutes, small seconds, date, calculation of immersion time.
CASE: Diameter 47 mm, carbotech. Unidirectional rotating bezel in carbotech. Back in titanium with special engraving. Device protecting the crown (protected as trademark) in carbotech.
DIAL: camouflage black, carbon, with luminous dots and indexes. Date at 3 o’clock, seconds at 9 o’clock.

In describing the the Comsubin caseback, I would say the most fitting word to use is 'insignia'. The first word you used in this video was 'emblem' which was correct 👍

Now that the Charbotech has been out for few years, how durable is that material? can it break/get damaged by accident? lets say while swimming in the pool, or hit it accidentally against a door/ wall? if I drop it?

Had this question earlier and passed it on to Panerai... No problem at all with that type of case. So no need to worry. Remember, you can damage any watch if you try hard enough 😜

SORRY! Now they are closed at Panerai, so can try to find out in January if it is still helpful ...

Every case material used by Panerai has been artificially aged on a massive scale. Once the material has passed the internal tests, it is approved. Then the customer can be sure that he will enjoy the watch for a very long time.

@@WatchAdvisor thank you Alex for the response. I've come across a worrying thread on reddit where numerous people have had their carbotech cases fail especially at the lugs. I want the carbotech submersible 42 but just want to be sure it will hold up over time at such a premium price point.

The word you want is "insignia". Lovely watches - but ludicrously overpriced. €10k more because one of them is green FFS.

I think the green is just to visually set it apart as the LE model, doesn't influence the cost. The extra €10k is tied to the special-forces training experience you get when purchasing the LE watch.

Nice watches but way too freaking expensive for what you get . More Marketing gimmicks for people with money to waste.Oh wow , I get to spend two days with Italian commandos, and what, that will cost me thousands of Euros more? For what? For that kind of money I can take a two week private security contractor course where you can learn many more skills than in two days .Plus 47 mm too big. OK a few can be 47 mm, but Panerai are traditionally 44 mm and 45 mm . A few can be 42 mm and a few can be 47 mm, but the main offerings should be 44 mm and 45 mm especially in a world where watch size trending down in size not up.I like the look of the watches and the materials used but not the size and the pricing. I won’t be buying any more Panerai anytime soon. Sorry mes amis, I ll be taking my hard earned else where...

It all depends of what you are willing to spend for what... These few watches were already sold through to a final customer during SIHH ...
