happy I discovered this channel after purchasing my M57 from this shop but also kinda annoyed at myself for not seeing this first before buying the m57 because this looks like it's amazing. maybe in a year when I wanna upgrade and give my m57 to my siblings. thanks for the in depth review!

How is it after a few years? My main concern is the seat mesh would sag or get loose. I'm also concerned that the lumbar support is too high even in the lowest setting (another review said this).

Good chair, bought it for 350$ (I am in Vietnam). Sturdy and high quality. Sihoo is the company that manufacture chair for Humanscale, which is used in my company office. P/p is best.

Hey thanks for dropping by. i have used the V1 for a year and the headrest did not break or has gotten deformed. it does not get hot but admittedly it's not the best material for a headrest. those mesh ones are better,

can you tell me the exact height of the armrest on the very lowest setting, from the seat to the top of the armrest? i am concidering between the sihoo m57 and this one, but the m57 seem to have a slightly too large seat depth, however this one seems to have quite high armrests, so i would like to know if i am able to do my arms on 90 degrees for good posture. I am 5`4.

Hi po! How high is your table sir? Even after lowering the seat po ba and the armrest to their lowest points, hindi parin kasya ang armrest nya sa table mo? IDC what anyone says, you deserve a sub! May nahanap lang ako na cheaper option sa Furnitura hahaha pero I think I will order to this shop kasi mukhang very quality ang dineliver sayo hehe.

Hello friend thanks for dropping by! the height of my table is 28 inches. oo hindi parin kaasya yung armrest sa upuan unless i lower the seat itself. that's one of the cons for me.. but that's just for my specific desk height.

@@BERGB3RG safe ka na na ma fit yung chair sa desk mo kung 31 inches. Same height tayo and konting konti nalang pasok na sa desk yung chair ko hehe. I learned to live with it kasi worth it naman yung comfort although syempre mas ok pag napapasok mo yung chair. Ok dun sa TWU friends natin yan sila Aldritch good deal saka good support yan, white glove treatment ka dyan. :)

Hey thanks for dropping by! Mas mababa armrest ng m57, yung V1 65 cm from the ground yung lowest ng armrest. Im also 5’10 and my challenge with the v1 is being able to tuck the chair under my table. If your table is high go with the V1 otherwise stick with the m57 muna. They also have a version of the m57 with an armrest now. :)

kung sa ergo position sakto lang yung V1, problem lang kasi pag pinapasok ko sa desk ko hindi kaya kasi mababa desk ko. pwede ka pumunta kila Aldritch sa QC para makita mo yung mga units kung di ka makapag decide.:)

Hey, I'm heavily considering this chair but I'm a bit worried if the lumbar is too aggressive. I sometimes like to sit in a completely relaxed position similarly to a gaming chair with no lumbar, and only have lumbar support when working. Are you able to remove the lumbar support tension completely with the knob or will the lumbar always be aggressive due to the curved plastic/mesh design on the backrest? Also I heard some complaints on amazon reviews regarding a chemical smell causing burning eyes and the armrest adjustments accidentally resetting when moving the chair. Was this an issue for you? Did the smell eventually go away and does your armrest ever reset? Thanks man!

Hey thanks for dropping by! here are my thoughts. - i think the lumbar support is not too agressive, because of how big the back is the mesh tends to be not too tight, this was never an issue for me. you can also lessen the support - it really has a strong plastic smell when you 1st open it. seems the same way with all SIhoo chairs i tested, it goes away 1 month in - accidental adjustment of armrest. yes this happens a lot, everyday i think and its annoying. but eventually i just lived with it i hope this helps!

Hello! Thanks for dropping by! longest i have probably used the headset continously is maybe 1 hour? and these are only situations where i would watch series/movies. it's not that bad, it does get hot imo but that's more because i have this in an air conditioned room.

Finally got my Sihoo V1 all because of your great video! i finally understood why you chose to purchase your review unit...hands down! the best chair i have purchased in my life I also have a question, my unit came in with 4 screws? but i only saw 3 provisions on the bottom back part of the chair. is the 4th screw just an extra? or did i miss something to screw it on?

Awesome review! So hard to find review for V1. May I know if the headrest is tight enough? It seems quite loose that whenever we lay back the headrest will get pushed behind.

Hey friend thanks for dropping by! Glad you like the review! The headrest does get pushed back in some of the laying down positions, one of my work arounds for this is to change the headrest height whenever i lay down. It’s not perfect but it works. This issue is worse on the m57 i feel.

Hey thanks for dropping by! Sure! Hand rest lowest to top of mesh seat = 22 CM Hand rest lowest to floor = 65 CM this is one of those that have a higher armrest but apart from that pretty good. I hope this helps!

Hey man, thanks for the detailed review! I do have a question. My height is at 160cm (~5'4") and I'm planning on making a table with a custom height that's good for me which is 64cm or 25 inches. If we set the chair and armrest at their lowest position, what would be the height between the floor and the armrest? Can it go as low as 64cm?

Hello! This would also depend on the height of the gaslift itself. with everything at the lowest the armrest height will be at 26 inches. :)

Hey there thanks for dropping by! Retracting os easy you just pull it. Opening it is a bit tricky, there is a locking mechanism once you put it in the horizontal position. If you want to put it back you have to unlock it by pulling it.

I have a desk height of 29" (74cm) I need the chair to fit under the table when not in use. Which model stands lower at the lowest settings (arm rest and gas lift)? I was looking at the Sihoo M57 with Footrest that will cost around ₱9.5k until i saw your video for the V1. The Sihoo V1 with Footrest retails today at around ₱16k I want to know your thoughts? Is it worth the additional 65% cost for the V1 given my circumstance?

Hey friend thanks for dropping by! If the chair fitting under your desk is a deal breaker for you then dont’t get the V1. It wont fit under a 29 inch table. But if you can look past that then its worth the 16k. I came from an m57, i was supposed to only test the V1 but i ended up buying it instead hahaha.

Okey...this is a dilemma. Our height is only 3cm apart and i saw your video on the M57 in which your shoulders is way above the mesh back cover. Was the height adjustment back on the V1 a factor for you to upgrade from the M57? Can you give me pros and cons of the V1 over the M57?

with the V1 you start to enter the proper ergonomic chair territory. it has all the features you would expect from an ergonomic chair, while not super premium it's there. the M57 is more of a entry to the base level of ergonomic chairs.. it's better than your usual office chair. if you have the budget go for the V1. if you are limited to 9k for the forseeable future then get the m57 it's still better than an office or gaming chair.

Hey man thanks for dropping by, This one i bought and i sold my old m57 for this. i know the distributor of SIhoo in the Philippines and they send me models for review but they take them back after i review them. i dont get paid to review these ( my following is not that big :) ). this chair was really comfortable, and big. the only downside is that the armrests are too high. hope this helps
