This stuff is amazing, I decided to repair a bad section of guttering with it, now I think the repair will definitely outlive the rest of the entire gutter system. Sika make great stuff, also their expanding foam called Sika Boom made repairing bad window sills a very easy task. I can't wait to find other gems in their lineup but also find other uses for the ones I already know about.

hi, do you think it will help with repairing a small hole on a pvc inflatable boat? and is it resistant to salt water?
@SikaGroup5 жыл бұрын
We do not recommend using Sika® MultiSeal for this type of repair. Our product is resistant to salt water, but as it would be in contact with 100% salt water it may have a lower expectation of resistance.

what is the difference between multisieal T and BT
@SikaGroup8 ай бұрын
Hello, The difference is that Sika® MultiSeal T is bitumen-based, and Sika® MultiSeal BT is butyl-based. Butyl is more commonly used with non-porous materials (such as metals), while bitumen is typically used with porous materials (such as mortars). Have a great day.

@@SikaGroupalso, which one would you recommend if i were to use the tape in a way that would be connected to both non-porous materials (metal) and porous material (roof tiles)?
If they used American measurements and temperatures I would consider this product but I don't want to go get a conversion to see what temperature or how many inches are how many feet. I want easy to understand directions in English.

Hi Penny, this is Sika's global corporate channel based in Switzerland (hence metric measurements). Try kzfaq.info/love/xvtqj4YYYXsz1Uvo5VcJZQ for Sika USA videos.

Back to review sika multiseal after 1 year of use, sika multiseal is inferior to normal shiny flashing tape.The dull exterior didnt resist too well in a tropical environment with no ice or snow under the shade of a tree on a metal roof.Dont recommend not worth it.

Bro means sealant tape leaked/degrade? Or just cosmetic dull.

@@rockwelldelphy5099 Hi bro, the superior protective surface started to break apart.That part is not under full sunlight .on top of that their system of butyl rubber also doesnt hold up in sunlight.i live in a tropical weather environment.Basicly sad but true german and swiss quality is not worth it now.
