I like that the 'pilot' tried to emulate the rate of liftoff of an actual helicopter rather than just zip off into the air. The slow careful landing was impressive as well. The visuals appear to be close to authentic. Terrific modeling, piloting, and presentation!

I take my hat off to European scale model enthusiasts who are truly passionate to scale flying. Wish there were more large scale models on a BNF available in the US. There is nothing like a large scale helicopter that can be flown realistically right out of the box.

Thorsten Kleyboldt is that actually electric ? I only ask as I saw the telltale smoke from turbine startup before the rotors started moving ?

Lovely aircraft and flight demo. Just love pilots that pilot their craft as if it was a full scale aircraft.... Seems this A/C also has a sound system in it along with a smoke generator???????/

+Paul Hebert Got to be a sound system. I would have preferred a very quiet flight, so that you can hear the blades. But that's just my lazy ass speaking.. cuz it takes me month to put together an ARF. The smoke and start/end effects are very nice and the scale....

helicopter wasn't used in ww2

Don't recall anybody saying it was but some helicopters were flying and used by both sides in ww2 with chindits in burma r-4 hoverfly and germany dragon would have been used for Mussolini rescue if things had worked out plus other small helicopters in kriegmarine use.
