My Chief Flight Instructor has the Agusta. I call it a flying limousine, beautiful, big and fast. He says it cost about $1500-$2000 an hour to operator.

The D model you show here is the latest iteration of that ship...and that Glass panel boarders more on Mileneium Falcon than Bell/Sikorsky panels of past. These also as mentioned are twin engined birds..and are a treat to travel in...but Loud...Really Loud...I think these are why Bose invented noise canceling head sets!! Out of interest to airplane guys...the S92- brought around in 1992!- is twice the size..and even louder. Built for North sea oil platform duty.... For those wondering this is nothing like the model KOBE was in. Unfortunately he was in a 30yr old model that did not have the glass cockpit or Terrain Awareness system that these newer ones have. With KOBE money he really should have been in an updated model, hed still be here today if he had been flying a newer model even in that type of weather. Just wanted to clarify for those wanting to know a little more. Also if money is no object, I would choose the Bell 525 over this model if I had to pick a luxury heli to fly in

I‘m flabbergasted that this huge machine can be flown by only one pilot. As I learned (I‘m a layman) a helicopter is steered by using both feet and both hands, otherwise it crashes if you take away one of the limbs from the controls for too long (seconds).

Doing my due diligence in gaining understanding of what kind of chopper Kobe and all the other loss beautiful individuals lead to their timely deaths. Feels like the pilot hit something before the chopper went down in a dive... as if the conditions become too much where visibility was loss for a few that caused the pilot to hit something and was unable to recover the aircraft from the dive..

That's why i move from places to places by walking

Why wasn't the one Kobe flew in was better updated with up to date equipment? Would it have made the difference..i know it came from Illinois from the Govenor use .. But that was over 12 yrs ago it should have gone new adjustment.. We know that one piece of instalment we are referring too. Would have shown how much closer to the ground they were instead of guessing. He was a well trained pilot and with all his training this device may have made the difference..

Amazing IFR technology just disappointing that helicopter companies aren’t liscensed in Southern California to use them, they apparently feel they don’t need to use IFR, Could of saved some lives.

I'm questioning the decisions of the ATC over the crash on the weekend as well.

Why should such a well manufactured helicopter burn when it develops mechanical breakdown.I guess the next generation helicopter should be one that defies gravitational force,ie it slowly glides back to the ground incase of a mechanical failure.
