Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, this last year from November 2023 until now I've had a right knee replacement and right foot reconstruction, so I have yet to get it out to the range. My plan is to see which length works the best on my FNH PS90 and then just leave it on and pretty much dedicate it to that gun. Once I try it, I'll post my results here.

Thanks for watching and your question! So, that's a great question, and I'll answer it by saying "it depends". So on a 22LR rifle with sub-sonic ammo, they are both about equal (now that's with me firing them both side-by-side at my local club indoor range without a decibel meter) with the Switchback being a little quieter. Now, on a handgun, with the same ammo, the Switchback is noticeably better. That's because they are both really different (and yet both are rated to the 5.7X28mm cartridge). The Sparrow is shorter and lighter, and really does an amazing job for being so small. I have shot my PS90 in 5.7 with the Sparrow, and it worked very well. My club indoor range isn't rated for the 5.7 round so I haven't shot it through my PS90 yet. I've now put my Sparrow in the case with my Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 handgun. The ONLY thing I don't like about the Sparrow, is that during reassembly, it is difficult to align the scalloping in the back of the front cap with the matching scalloping in the tube as you slide everything back together--that is a pain in the neck. They may have changed that since mine is an older version. You can't go wrong either way.
