Another helpful tip you may want to share, that I've used many times with blades that might poke out of the sheath (even with leather sheaths), is to put a small wad of cotton down deep in the very tip of the sheath/scabbard, which nicely cushions the tip, preventing those poke-throughs.

The downside of the ninja sword is that the sword is the strap on the sheath is too short that it won't go across the body

Love the knives they are small so I would do a rapid free throw that's where I have more than one knife and throw one then the next then the next knife.
