This is my favorite Silent Hill track. It’s soul-crushingly despondent but also oddly comforting. Like you’re standing in a depressing apartment room staring at the wall for hours.

I treat bathrooms as a save room in a way. Whenever I’m taking too much with bullshit I just lock the door and play this to try to help escape reality without having to be bothered. It’s the only place I have that offers me pure privacy.

I'm 48 now. This still holds as the most foreboding, ominous, depressing music I've ever heard. I remember how much it impacted me the first time I heard it while playing this game. Thanks for uploading.

I love all the Silent Hill soundtracks sooo much, but when I hear certain ones like this...my heart breaks a little thinking that this was almost 10 years ago when I first played and heard this on SH4: The Room :( I don't know if its because of the tragic situation that Walter ended up in as a kid or if because it was during my youth, when things didn't feel so rough and I had very little worries, but I will always look back at those days as some of the greatest times in my life...

Gobbles wells I tried it at a friend's house. I adored a certain part where the linearity of the hallway suddenly broke down. Not revealing too much but I can tell you that you'll start to question your sanity when experiencing it!

I'm playing through all the games and I've gotta say 4 is my favorite thus far. Something about the story just - - hits me. A story about a failed child who grew up estranged to the world around him, probably waiting for someone to save him in some sort of level. Eventually, he figured out that no one can do it for him and set out a mission. Ironically, he shared some traits with people who's lives he ended up taking. All in an effort to become closer to the only thing he felt he had a connection to. Sure, he's a rehash of Claudia's character but Team Silent figured out a way to make him feel more tragic, deranged, and lost.

Truly one of the best of the saga, though that can be said about all the original 4, but I really appreciate hot different this one is, and Walter Sullivan is still one of the best and most tragic villains of all Silent Hill

This image itself just gives off such a feeling of isolation, like the Rabbit is just looking the world go by while he is lost in his own world. Just like Henry himself when he's trapped in his own appartment, just like I used to feel back when I was too depressed to leave my own home. This game is so freaking great...

But also saying that “your not a real silent hill fan” is beyond the most stupidest thing I have ever read. When it’s made by the original team. If you want something that is “not true silent hill” look at the games like homecoming and other games that wasn’t produce by the original team silent.

@@luisangelcastillo289 This is false. It was intended to be a SH game. The only true part of it is that the B team of Team silent worked on it because they developed 3 and 4 alongside each other, and the main team was working on 3. 4 was always intended to be a Silent Hill game.

This song is the abbys staring back at you, I've never struggle so much to listen to a song before. The emotion of this track is really open to one's current emotional state, carves deep into a crossroads of which emotions you choose. The lyrics are the thoughts it provokes upon you. Truly a great track from the BEST Silent Hill game in the awesome series.

Yeah I seriously dont understand all the hate against it. I mean everyone has their opinion. But I personally didnt find the ghosts annoying and the fact that its not in the town Silent Hill is a nice change. The environments were really awesome and creepy.

This song hits really special. Like when this plays you've been running through one of the most anxiety inducing areas in a Silent Hill game because of its oppressive feeling background noises and then that background noise stops and this plays, and the mood melts into this like uneasy serenity. Any game pulling my strings like that is gonna leave a big impression.

tengo 18 años y soy fan de la saga,los jugué desde chiquito a todos,salvo el Downpour, no tuve la oportunidad de jugarlo cuando tuve la ps3, de todos los que jugué,este sin dudas fue el que mas traumas y miedo me dio por un buen tiempo, este juego fue el único que mas me costo terminarlo, y tengo que admitir que lo jugué varios años después porque fue el que mas me asusto en verdad,todas las canciones y efectos tantos visuales como de audio en todos los juegos,son perfectas, no veo la hora de que saquen uno para ps4 que fue por la razón que compre la consola..

@@luisangelcastillo289 iba a ser llamado Room 302 y era desarrollado por el Team Silent, mismo equipo que desarrolló SH1-3, asi que técnicamente era un spin off de la saga que se convertió en una entrega principal, asi como Final Fantasy Versus XIII pasó a ser FFXV

Such an amazing game...this game is so severely underrated. I can understand the debate that it never took place in silent hill. But the story line to this game is on a different level. And actually it was never supposed to be part of the silent hill series. It was going to be its own separate game.

This track feels like the room, not the game, the space itself. It's sad and desolate, Henry (and by extension you, the player) can't communicate with anyone else, you're alone, it's hopelessly desolate and you can feel it. But at the same time, it's comforting, this is your little place in the world, and it's yours and yours alone, and as desolate and sad as it is, it's still home, and you're resting comfortably in your bed.
