orthodox oral tradition say joseph was thrown in jail for a time then traveled the world all the way to England preaching the gospel eventually dying peacefully

I believe Joseph was Jesus stepfather. He Loved Him and buried Him in the family plot.

There are legends in England about Joseph of Arimithea and Jesus building the first Christian church on the site of what is now the Glastonbury Abbey ruins where King Arthur was buried. Joseph and Jesus were there during the lost eighteen years of Jesus' life.
