Peggy Holds a degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising from Brigham Young University. As a mother to four sons, Peggy spends her time divided between teaching and creating new patterns for Silhouette Patterns, a line of contemporary patterns available to the home sewer. During her career she has taught college courses in pattern drafting and design. She professionally drafts patterns for individuals and manufacturers all across the country ranging from golf apparel to black tie performances. In addition to apparel designs, Peggy has designed the patterns of the costumes worn by the Mens Olympic Figure Skating Gold Medalist, Elvis Stojko.

Thank you Peggy for another great program. I always learn something. Wanted to comment that my video kept freezing but the audio kept going. Don't have that trouble with any other youtube videos (and I watch youtube hours every day while in my sewing room). To recover the action, I would just move the video a little ahead. In the past, but not for a while, I had trouble with the video and audio being out of sync. Most youtubers don't seem to have those probs.

janet s hello peggy Ilove jackets but i have so many adgustments to make to a pattern so i would like to make a block but how do u know how much ease to allow on the block can you help me

That is called pattern making. We have a dvd called, Basic Pattern Making. That would have the info you want.
