Hi Melissa. I was wondering how often are there deals for the upgrades? I saw you had a deal once for 50% but that was a while ago. I was wondering if I wait till either black Friday or closer to the holidays if there will be better deals?

It’s different to import a design once I’ve purchased it and downloaded it. I used to go to file, library, import to library and then choose file from my downloads. Is there a different method when you’ve updated to the 64 bit for Mac. I had to update because I’d updated to Catalina.

If you have all 3 license being used on 3 devices,and get rid of one device..Do you just uninstall it and can put on the new device?

New cameo 4 owner here... I'm having registration mark nightmares. It always fails (manually and auto) on matte sticker paper. (I won't even attempt glossy at this point). It regularly fails with adhesive cardstock and on regular copy paper. When it does register, it cuts perfectly. I can run every failed print through my cameo 2 after it fails to register on my cameo 4, so I know it isn't the print or printer. Any suggestions or resources? I've reinstalled software, but still having all kinds of issues. I'm seriously regretting the purchase at this point. The cameo 2 is a work horse while the 4 has become completely unreliable for me.

Good morning!!! So I've still been having the issue with the software crashing! I Uninstaller the current version 4.4 and downloaded the legacy version 3.378 (that may be wrong) lol, but it's the one you recommended in your previous video about the software issues. Anywho, it's crashing also..and very frequently!! Do you know or recommend any solutions??

Hi there. I was hoping you could help me with a challenge that has persisted since September. I've gone through your videos on the matter as well as tried Google responses. My purchased Silhouette images aren't syncing (or appearing) in my Library. I've tried everything. My Silhouette is registered. There is no "Local User Folder" that I can find to check there. I've checked - and unchecked -"Automatically Download..." I've tried the "retry" button as well as exited and gone back into Silhouette countless times. Using Silhouette's Chat and Email "helpline" has not been helpful AT ALL. Do you know of a way I can reach a person to FINALLY put this very frustrating issue to rest? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

hi Melissa, my question is what is the best update on software do you recommend? right now my computer is taking more than 10 mins for the silhouettes to communicate to the printer when i send something to it. i have the 4.3.370 because the new edition was working right either. so when i communicated to silhouette they told me to go to the 4.3.370 but now its not printing right.

Hi there, I'm using the latest version and haven't had any issues. 4.3.370 is what I recommend for those that are having any sort of trouble with later versions. You may want to check to make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements here: www.silhouetteamerica.com/faq/solution/software-minimum-system-requirements

Hi Melissa, I believe I asked you this question before but I would like to double check before I request for a refund. I purchased the Business Edition Upgrade and the Designer Edition Plus now the Designer Edition Plus is included with the Business Edition Upgrade? Or is the Designer Edition Plus is it different and unlock other cool tools? Because if it comes included with the Business I would like to get a refund and use that money to invest in the cameo 4. Thank you Maria

Hey there, it really depends on what you bought. The full upgrade goes from Silhouette Studio Basic up to Business Edition. However there are bridge upgrades that go from Designer or Designer + up to Business Edition. There is Designer Edition, Designer Edition Plus, and Business Edition. There is not a Business Edition Pro. You can go from basic/ free to any upgrade version OR you can ago in steps.

Somehow...and I have no idea how...I was told by Silhouette that they couldn’t help me bc I have a BETA version. I can no longer see any new images I put into my library. Very frustrating!! Any suggestions? - Cindy

Bata versions of software are experimental releases of software, company's release beta versions so people can try and report bugs. Current stable version (alpha release) is 4.4.270

Mik Mmmhhmm so...updated to 4.4.270 and still new images saved to my library are not visible until on a mat. Very frustrating, but thanks for the info.

@@cindydurran9519 you don't have to use the library, you can store on your hard drive and open in silhouette studio or merge into silhouette studio

I’ve used Silhouette for years. Ever since I got a new cameo 4 it’s been a nightmare. I’ve had it for a year and it’s never worked even after purchasing a brand new computer. I would NEVER purchase another Silhouette machine.
