Real estate is supposed to compliment your active income.. it lowers your effective tax rate significantly and it’s a long term safety net.. it’s cash flows much better than stocks.. and even with stocks it should compliment your portfolio.. your own business is the best initial investment just not your only one.

It seems most people who are successful aren't really that impressive in many ways. They work hard sure, but that's not really a big deal. Most of these people you wouldn't really want to hang out with socially. The best way to use their success is to realize...wow, if they can do it I surely can.
