when we think about flowers freshness spread around us. The beautiful colors of the flowers tells us the story of the beauty of life. Today's video is on Roses. Many roses are cultivated for their beautiful flowers, which range in color from white through various tones of yellow and pink to dark crimson and maroon, and most have a fragrance.
I made these flowers on habutai silk 8mm
Materials I used:
1- Habutai silk 8mm
2- Silk paints
3- News print sheets
4- Brushes
5- Transparent gutta
6- Disposable bowls
7- Large water bowl
8- Iron

Hello Abid ! Thankyou for such amazing painting videos . I want to know . Do you use silk paints directly from the seta silk bottle or do you have to mix them with water ? Also what if I want to mix two colours .. can I do it or i need to add something like water in it . Also can I mix fabric paints with silk paints ?

Thank you so much. 1- you can use silk paint directly and if you want light tone of any color add water in that color. 2- 1st apply water on the fabric and then paint that area in 2 or more than 2 colors. 3- yes you can mix fabric paints in silk paints but it's better for your fabric use silk paints on pure silk and fabric paints on all types of cotton or jeans etc.

Thank you so much ma'am. Ma'am i used local brand and fortunately white is available in that kit. I guess white color is mixture of white fabric paint paste or liquid binder.

Thank you so much. Not at all. This is soft wood, and you can easily attach the fabric with thumb tack. i mean, stretch the fabric easily. Pertal wood is best for this type of frames. I uploaded my videos on frames. You can check in my videos

Thanks. I used seta silk paints. Yes diluted with Water. You can use any nylon based round and flat brushes.

Thanks Ni need to add any chamichal in the silk paints if you want to dilute the silk paint with water. Dilute your silk paint in water. Quantity of water according to your requirement. Add more water if you want a lighten tone or less water if you want a little lighten tone

Thanks. You can wash in normal tab water. Dip for 5 minutes in water and washing powder. Don't rub the fabric. Takeout after 5 minutes from water and wash in clean water.

I always prefer transparent silk paints. You can use silk dyes too. Silk dyes give you the better result

Ws thank you so much.yes dip the fabric for 30 minuts in the water It is also important to soak the cloth in water to remove dirt and impurities from it.no when you stretch the fabric on the frame apply the water with shower your fabric will loose again let it dry and when it dries start painting

Thanks for your words. I used seta silk paints brand pebeo. You can buy from iqbal book corner main market gulberg. Ailk dyes are not available in pakistan which we can use for ailk painting. Oxidised dye are available but those dyes are for tie and dye etc

Silk paints arein liquid form and transparent quality. Fabric paints are opaque and in paste form and make a thick lyer on the fabric and make it hard

Apart from silk can it work on synthetic mix fabric.

You can use silk paints on synthetic fabric but you cannot fix the silk paints on mixed fabric

Hi Abid. Beautiful painting and explained well. I am new to painting on fabric. But I have a doubt. I want to paint on a magenta silk saree with light shades of magenta. But seta silk colours are transparent right? So how can I paint my magenta silk saree? Do I have to apply a layer of white opaque paint on the silk where I want to paint and later use the seta silk paint? Can you help me with this doubt? Any recommendations for the white opaque paint particularly for silk? Thank you for this video. ☺

Thank you so much. Yes silk paints and silk dyes in transparent form. You cannot paint on dark surface and if you want to make a white layers befinatly you can see the white dirty spots on the back side of your fabric . So should use fabric paints and mix them with white paint thn use on dark surface otherwise paint the design 1st then paint the rest of the area but on white or very light tone

Why do you want to remove black gutta if you have done the outline with black gutta. There is no need to remove any colored gutta from fabric accept transparent gutta.

Check the label of your silk paints brand. Moatly silk paints are iron fixed

Hi Abid I tried using jacquard silk colours but after steaming when i washed the piece the colour washed away i don't what mistake i did can you please suggest me

I am so sorry for that. If you are using any silk dyes which need to steamed then beware steam minimum 3 to 4 hours and before steam leave the fabric for 24 hours after painting then go for steaming.little color bleeding is on if it happens one or two times but if your colors washed out then worried about it . Check your process and steamer and timing. I would like to suggest you watch the videos on youtube regarding steaming with this color brand

Silk dyes are soluble in water, and pigments are not. You can use use silk paints for silk paintings, and silk dyes are a very good option for silk painting. There are many different brads available in the market so you can try to paint

You can use black gutta outline. Yes you can paint this on any fabric.

@@abidzcraft thanks, still a bit confused, but I think I get it. Could you please make a video if possible? You meant leaving 1!4th area dry and covering it in the next framing, and painting on the wet area, right? Also, is it necessary to keep the fabric suspended in air or can we do it on table/floor

You can not paint black fabric with silk paints because silk paints have transparent and best for white silk or very light base colour

We called that gutta outline, which is water based Fabric outliner. You can buy pebeo gutta or marabu gutta from your nearest drawing store or amazon. There is no any product of guttas on Ali express

There is no need to wash fabric if you use golden,silver,copper, or black gutta

you can use silk paints on both fabrics. mostly acrylics are good for organza and you can paint chiffon with fabric paints and silk paints too.
