Our adventure begins at the iconic Portal West building, the grand gateway to Silliman University. As we step onto the campus, we're immediately enveloped by a sense of history and tradition. Established in 1901 by American Presbyterian missionaries, Silliman University has grown from a small schoolhouse to a sprawling academic institution renowned for its excellence in education and research. Our walk continues to the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium, the premier performing arts venue in the Visayas-Mindanao region. This state-of-the-art facility has hosted countless cultural events, concerts, and theatrical productions, making it a beacon of artistic expression on campus. As we stand beneath its grand facade, I’ll recount some of the memorable performances and notable artists who have graced its stage.

The Anthropology museum is in the same area with the university church. Its in a building called Hibbard Hall and right in front of it, is the statue of the founder, Dr. David Hibbard. Its open to public and with special permission, you can take videos inside.
