I didn’t know you can use the axe. 😄 But you still have to get up to the sacks. That‘s the worst.

For Bonemass I would recommend to level up the Iron Mace + Shield to max. That works pretty well. 😉

Did you try more than one mountain biome on your map? Might be only one with this issue.

@@TheCadWoman We did; so far it's been doing it for all of them. :/ At this point, until they fix it (according to the Valheim bug reporter page, others are having this issue too, along with the same thing but with iron in the swamp, so at least we know it's not just us), my only hope pretty much is to go back to one of the biomes near our spawn point, that we visited before the last update, and try there. I know from what they've been saying about the Mistlands update (that any chunks we've already visited and therefore have already been spawned prior to that future update won't have their content updated, so we should stay out of them if we want to experience that change) that there's a chance that whatever is causing the issue, if it happened in one of the updates, and after we visited (and therefore spawned) any mountain areas, that that spot won't be affected, and we will be able to get some there. Here's hoping, anyways!!

Oh ok. Or maybe you could try another seed? You can try to create one where you know that a mountain biome is close to the spawn and see if the bug is also in the new world.
