The spot silver and gold markets sold on the week.
The spot gold price has dipped below the $2,350 oz ask, while the spot silver price closed the week testing the $30 oz breakout level passed late last week.
The spot gold-silver ratio climbed to near 77. Keep an eye on it breaking below 75, a key short-medium-term resistance level.
There is a big bullion sale this weekend at www.SDBullion.com/deals
I would politely suggest that bigger silver stackers consider going with this 100-oz bar sale. I'm not sure how much longer silver bullion at a round $30 oz price will be available to us all.
For gold bullion buyers, the Royal Mint's Britannia is a great value this weekend.

Spot price for Silver is around $30 per ounce, but in South Africa after everyone added their premiums, we pay $45 per ounce.

It is healthy for silver to backtests $30, and then continue to move slowly up in the next week or month. I don't think I want to see it move up in a straight line.

I work in telecommunications sms industry we have a lot Asian partners. They are hands down worse people to deal with, like speaking to chat bots. Don’t pay their invoices and only operate on credit, then try sell said credits to smaller Chinese companies for 0.01 more than they are being billed. How are they even profitable?? Seems to me they barely breaking even after payroll and overhead. So odd to me ….

My personal opinion as an amature military analyst is that China is bluffing. They don't have the capability to take Taiwan without immense horrific losses. And don't have the political/social credit to endure such losses.

The drop occurred because of some Fed official chattering about holding rates higher for longer. This gave paper traders to make a quick profit. Keep your vision clear and ignore the short term paper trade.

I understand your sentiment but respectfully disagree. Silver has been money for millenia before 1971 without electronic verifiers. And we use 100% (effectively worthless) base metals now. If we reduced that to 10% copper/nickel coinage, and 90% silver coinage, we'd be a lot better off in my opinion.

I noticed the other day that COPPER is the same price as silver only in cent's ¢32 a ounce. But seriously they sell 1lb,5lb, and 10 lb bar's. I don't think that people test copper like they do silver and gold, not to give anyone any ideas.

I'm expecting silver to correct itself and settle around the $26-27 mark. Nothings going to the moon while those paper PMs exist. The thing that should concern us about China's recent Taiwan 'exercise' is the speed that they were able to mobilise and pull this off on such short notice.

I am an ex-military person, so this is my viewpoint as such. I believe that Taiwan should be an independent nation that could deal with all countries. We, the USA, would not want to have China armed in Cuba. All countries should be able to deal with Taiwan without any military being in their country. War makes enemies and destroys countries. Taiwan is capable of dealing with all as an independent nation without any military involvement involvement.

Good stuff James. I like the meme you created with the guy smiling at $31.25 silver last Friday, and frowning at the same price today. I went through the same thing, but stepped back and looked at the bigger picture. China-Taiwan is scary. I can’t believe that China would invade Taiwan while they are still holding about $800 billion in U.S. treasuries. Who knows? Maybe they will dump their remaining holdings in a chaotic fashion and drive up long term interest rates. Interesting times for sure. 👍🏼👍🏼

@@SpeedDemonExpresstsmc is already in Az - it’s a huge build out. Part of it is up and running. But construction continues. They are having problems finding people for the higher end tech positions. It’s not just Taiwan semiconductor corp. There are more chip makers setting up huge factories in Arizona Rumor has it- if China invaded Taiwan, they (the Taiwanese) will blow up the factories that are so highly sought after. The factories for semiconductors are the most expensive build out . Billions to build them. Multi- billion.

I’ve personally drank probably about 50 to 100 gallons of colloidal silver in roughly 20 years. It doesn’t turn you blue. There’s a lot of misinformation in those stories the FDA doesn’t tell you about.
