Hi there, for many years I couldn't finish my guitar project because of this is only for professionals. Still now n then I'm looking up tips to step up. For so far and took few tests experimenting different paints, it lead me nowhere near the mirror effect.

I've researched hydro chrome but can't find the exact type and amount of chemicals and distilled water so, seeing that u said u use this certain process often, can u tell me what I would have to get, what chemicals or kit I should buy. Thank u for any info on this, I custom make diecast and I've tried SO many different types of airbrush paint and I get 1 of 2 outcomes, either I get that chrome look but as soon as I apply any clear over it, it turns to a dull finish or the paint sux and is dull to begin with. I think this is the only way I'll ever get that prefect chrome look. Please help and thank u

​@@kylebaker5982there is a video here on KZfaq I ran across some years ago showing how to make all the solutions for this process, but the guy was speaking Russian so not a word of it could I take in. Maybe now that KZfaq has closed captioning that translates I wan under stand it, that is if I can find it again

​@@kylebaker5982 this process needs 7steps;base black paint(gloss),DI-water wash,A+B liquid sprary,DI-water wash,K liquid sprary,DI-waterwash,S-liquid wash,air gun blow; usually it cost 45gbp for a helmet size paint ;the liquid ratio is really specific ones so dont recomment to diy it at home; the whole set with good results normally starts 670gbp etc (sprary bottles do not have good results,needs some special design sprary gun)

Yea man these people with chrome techniques hold their recipes super close. I know silver nitrate is one ingredient

Alsa sells this paint it aint cheap. Look it up Alsa Paints

😂 Yeah? Then what have I been using on my custom jobs for nearly 15 years? This isn't new technology. Alsa corp came out with spray chrome over 15 years ago.
