Silver is female and because her father is also an Opaline Blue-mutation (and males require a minimum of three generations to produce), Silver is a fourth-generation or F4. This requires 12-15 years on the part of the breeder. This mutation was first established by Antonio de Dios of Birds International Inc. in the Philippines, and is now also available in Thailand, very expensive bird to buy! Silver is for sale, but very expensive.

You obviously need to know mote than the basics of breeding macaws to breed a hybrid macaw. It's very hard to breed hybrid macaws. You don't just buy another one, you have to successfully breed another hybrid from a completely different pair of macaws that successfully bred a hybrid alike. Even then, you still have limited chances of breeding that same hybrid supposing that the two hybrid parents mated successfully. Breeding hybrid macaws is way harder and super expensive!
