The singer is Håkan Hemlin, best known from Swedish folk pop/rock duo Nordman, whose song Vandraren was a big hit in 90's, which still pops up here and there time to time, covered by Ensiferum feat Heri Joensen from Týr as vocalist, and also by and Ritchie Blackmore's Blackmore's Night as "Journeyman". Apart from that, not something I expected, but really good and promising first taste and could really hear Esa Holopainen sound by the end of the chorus.

When I first saw the teaser of this music video I got instantly some Nordman vibes.

Btw there is a swedish singer name Roger Pontare. He is also one of the classic pop rock singer and he has singed along with Hammerfall singing Roger's most popular song "När Vindarna Viskar Mitt Namn" Translate to "When Spirits are Calling my name" very good song recommand react to it. And one of my favorite songs from Roger is his Silverland song. Its in swedish but has really good metal in it.

I don't think that you need to hype this album, like, at all. If you know Amorphis, you already know what an incredible musician Esa Holopainen is. Everyone (me included) talks about how great a vocalistTomi is, but all too often we're forgetting how essential Esa's guitar play is for the Amorphis sound. So yeah, of course pre-ordered :)

You are right. While it is Esa's project. The vocals dominate the song until the last 1 minute or so. I loved the song Vandraren. I would never have guess he sings this, if I hadn't read it. Great song!
