This is so pretty!! 💖 I've been painting furniture for 30 years - in the days before chalk paint! Everyone thought I was crazy as I used things like Floetrol to extend oil based paint brush time on a vanity lol. I really, really love the way you teach me something new virtually every video 😊. Wow! Gotta order some of that silver leafing...it's fabulous 👏 Love the technique of cleaning the stencils (I really needed this!)...the job I hate the most. See you also used the stencil I now call Royal Pain in the Damask stencil because it's so miserable to clean...LOL. I love to use the stencils, but transfers are all the fun and none of the clean up. Love the layering, this is so beautiful, thanks!

Thank you for sharing the how to on this gorgeous piece and how to clean our stencils! My question concerns what to do when the stencil adhesive stays on the piece…..I stenciled with chalk paint and quickly removed my stencil. I lightly distressed the chalk-painted stencil with a 220 sanding block and then blew away the dust. And, then it happened…..the chalk dust stuck to the invisible adhesive residue on the table top. I had sprayed it lightly….not heavy and used a name brand craft adhesive (Pixie Spray). Had to redo the table top ☹️. Any thoughts on how to prevent this when using stencil spray adhesives?

What is the best seal for the imitation leaf? I’ve been reading that an oil based sealer is best because the leaf slipperier than the paint around it. Seems like it would be complicated to seal the paint with a water based sealer and the leaf with an oil based sealer 😳

I've a piece where the plastic/paper/laminate has tore off. What would you suggest I use before the slick stick, to keep the press board from absorbing it❓ thanks! 💚

What is up with all the DIY KZfaqrs with your “I’m going to GO AHEAD AND DO…….GO AHEAD AND TAKE.” “Go ahead and” are filler words and COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY TO USE. You don’t have to go ahead and cut this…just cut this. Don’t go ahead and paint this…just paint this. I am going to paint this…not I am going to go ahead and paint this. Do you realize how much time you waste saying these unnecessary words and I challenge any one of you who is guilty to count the number of times you use them in one video. I’m sure you think it may be only a few. THINK AGAIN!
