So I posted this comment on another reaction video I watched, they wanted to hear/see Angel's backstory so here we go again this revolves around two people before we get to Angel because you need to understand parts of their history with Angel to fully understand Angels backstory as well as some hidden lore that is also not all that hidden. Valentino: Valentino is one of 9 Overlords of hell, he controls most of the Adult film/ entertainment industry allowing only those he deems not a threat to him to operate and is the owner of Porn Studios. (the building that we see in the pilot episode of Hazbin Hotel while Charlie is singing) Valentino has been described by Faustisse (Illustrator and Visual Developer for Hazbin Hotel) as being about as level-headed as his fellow Overlord Vox. (in the pilot episode Vox is the demon who is in Porn Studios with the TV screen for a head) Valentino is also known for being very controlling and abusive towards his workers mostly Angel Dust though due to Angel being his money maker, taking most of the earnings Angel makes from working either in the studio or/and on street corners as a prostitute (in the comic) and has forcibly kissed and raped Angel several times (several being used loosely in how many times he's actually been raped), it's enough to give Angel some form of possible PTSD. (as seen when Angel looked into the mirror after the credits) Valentino is Physically the weakest of the 9 overlords but makes up with being able to control and manipulate other sinners, just like the other demons in the Hazbin/Helluva universe who have abilities, it's believed that the smoke from Valentino has a mind control/Persuasion effect to it, Cherri Bomb: Cherri Bomb is Angel Dust's best friend, tutor of crime and partner in crime. it's been theorized that she was also a sex worker like Angel seeing as she's got skill with pole dancing but Angel could've taught her some of that. another reason for the theory is that she has a heart tattoo on her arm the same as the one on the back of Angel's head, although it keeps changing with each artist's version of her, Cherri also has the same 3 dots under her eye like Angel does and has the same skin color although that could be total coincidence, theory's are that Cherri was a sex worker under Valentino like Angel but got out of the sex work business unlike Angel. Cherri has been there for Angel since the beginning going as far as to comfort him and even becoming a possiable vigilantly and blowing up a lot of Valentino's adult business's, in the "ADDICT" music video if you slow down the part after Angel knocks the bottle off the stage and Cherri makes her appearance you can see she's burning down and blowing up Adult film/Adult entertainment related stuff even a billboard of Valentino. (the first burning building she's on is a strip club) the theory for this one which I like a lot is that Cherri goes after Adult studio's and entertainment places for abusing and harming Angel this one is a theory that I came up with but, because of her vigilantism Cherri probably has a bounty on her head, and is constantly hunted down by the guy in the puddle, (his name is known only as Demon Hunter and was a character in Zoophobia a web-comic that Vivziepop made) another Theory that people have speculated is that Cherri was in love with the Demon Hunter and he faked his love for Cherri and used her for his own goals. Angel Dust: Anthony, know more so as Angel Dust is a Pornstar who works under Valentino, while he was alive he was born into a crime family in New York, Angel Dust died in 1947 following an overdose of phencyclidine (PCP other wise known as Angel Dust), hence his namesake down in Hell. Since his arrival in the underworld, Angel's work for Valentino's porn studio allowed him to become the biggest gay adult film superstar in Hell but Angel drowns out his world with narcotics and his twisted sense of humor, coming off as a asshole to others. Angel's attitude can be considered blunt, yet with a sense of style, always carrying a flirtatious and confident persona. He's also shown to be narcissistic, as seen with Angel believing that most of the demons in Hell are ugly freak harlequin babies and says his body is flawless in the pilot episode. However, that persona can be knocked away quickly when Angel is either dealing with Valentino (as seen in the comic) or when his looks are insulted (when Vaggie tells Angel that he's one to talk after making the ugly freak comment in the limo). He avoids holding emotional relationships with others and tends to be a loose cannon with most of the other characters. However, deep down, Angel actually does have a caring side for the people he cares about. During the turf war, he quickly pushed Cherri out of the way when one of Sir Pentious's egg boi's was about to shoot them both with the gun that grabs Angel. Then when he noticed his teasing about the hotel’s lack of people was upsetting Charlie, he stopped laughing and tried to comfort her, but then he ultimately decided to leave her alone because he realized how bad he fucked up. Angel agreed to go to the Happy Hotel (now Hazbin Hotel) to rehabilitate himself to become a better person for Charlie as a way to better his life, he needed a better living condition since he was three months late on rent and was giving his landlord at his old apartment sexual compansation (in the comic that you can read on hazbinhotel.com) (Hidden lore) Angel actually has a family that according to Vivzie will make a appearance later in the show, they are his fraternal twin Molly, his Older brother Arackniss and his dad Henroin. Angel tries to hide the pain and suffering that he goes through with being taken advantage of but sooner or later he's going to crack and I believe that will tie into his families arrival, his father Henroin is super homophobic and has most likely verbally attacked Angel in the past and is probably going to push Angel straight off the edge. even his older brother Arackniss shares his fathers view on homosexuality and is a hard ass to Angel (Arackniss being a hard ass and mean to Angel is non canon as of 2019) but Arackniss actually cares deeply for Angel and shows it by taking Angel out to eat and buying his favorite food or even just by sitting with him and relaxing, small things that show that he still cares about him but nothing that would show or raise a concern to their father, even if it's not known to Angel himself since he probably thinks that his brother also hates him, Molly on the other hand is the complete opposite and fully supports Angel and his Flamboyant ways. (Hidden lore end) also just for people wondering. The baby pig that Angel owns is named Fat Nuggets. (I'm always looking and scour the web for lore pertaining to Hazbin characters and anything to do with Hazbin so if you want more I'll keep a eye and ear out for more and will update when mores to come)

Fun fact: The pig's name is Fat Nuggets ;w;

I love that we finally met Fat Nuggets. And it is proof of what Charlie sang - he's a demon pig but he's still good for snuggling with and provides Angel Dust with a lot of much needed comfort and love

It gets worse. That guy who Angel Dust was in the car with wasn't a patron. He's effectively Angel Dust's pimp/boss.

Dunno if someone pointed it out..but if you pause it at the right time when angel and cherri are running out of the club at the end..there is a neon sign on the wall that says "It was all a dream" theorizing that this destruction of vals buildings is just a dream angel is having

things u probably didn’t notice (1) Angel is a spider and he has a pet pig so tht a connection with Charlottes web i thought tht was nice because he open up with a pig. (2) If read the comic the dude with the heart glasses is name Valentino and he is Angel abusive Boss. (3) Cherri bomb isn’t blowing up random buildings she actually blowing up Valentino district to get revenge for her best friend Angel (4) Sadly the part when Angel was dancing with Cherri and blew up the strip club was in his head (i think) because there is a quick sign saying “this was all a dream.”
