whtgrl81 no they don't put ls engines in trucks, don't believe the first thing you see when you look it up on the internet. The vortec engines were LS based but not LS engines

I’ve seen this video like 10times but this is by far the best sounding 4.8 I’ve heard hopefully when I get my cam installed and tuned it’ll sound half as good

Hmm? How can you tell? Doesn’t look like it’s your account, have you driven the truck? Cams do much more than make a “chop chop” noise. There IS a function to it, it doesn’t just “sound” good

It’s AMAZING the difference a cam can make with not just great sound, but wake a motor up by 40 to 60 horsepower. The exhaust choice makes it better as well with the sound.

We are working on my friends 2011 Sierra 5.3. Same color, we lowered it as well. Did you need a stall? Also what kind of tune? He got the same cam specs from Texas speed. Cool truck.

Have you had any problems with your Texas speed headers? I have the same 1 3/4 long tubes and they started leaking after only 6 months of being installed

Regular cab short box of any truck brands is very hard to find the dealerships don't have them you need to order from factory and the used ones aren't for sale.

I have the same EXACT TRUCK just mine is a 2012 and Victory Red, I can't wait to finally start my build that's all I ever wanted since I bought it bran new back in 2012 smh just gotta do it
