NeNe’s my girl….i love how she loves her son Kiyomasa….she is an awesome mom and she does not hold back from protecting him from Shabani!!! You guys need a baby in this family so I’m hoping Shabani and Ai can get that done. Thank you for sharing Shabani and his wonderful family with us!!! Sending love💕💕💕 from the 🇺🇸 USA!!

Male dominance is/has reaching a big high here. Been watching for quite awhile now, it’s gonna hit a peak. Shabani’s passiveness shouldn’t be taken as weakness.

You do realize some of these titles bait, right? One can interpret so many things but unless you can actually smell Shabani , you have no idea. I don't know why the zoo doesn't focus on the good of it all, it seems every other day they hate bait.

@@tracey9116 It is a translation issue. The person posting these (not the zoo) does not speak English and so things are lost in translation. So odd word choices don't match the actual video.

Shabani has been very close to Ai for a couple of weeks now,so it was obvious something was going on.Things are going to get a little bit interesting now.

Unfortunately I don't know if you will ever see them together again. Ai looks at shabani as more of a father than a mate. Combined with the birth control over the years, I don't think she goes into estrus anymore.

I love grandma Biddy! She's amazing. You are the only person I've seen mention her. I remember when Lope would run up and slap her face and run off. He so needed a butt whooping. 😆 As far as Shabani, I can't stand some of these titles. They breed so much ignorance and hatred. Poor Shabani is stuck with two grumpy ladies who don't want to do the do. 😆 Love Nene and AI, though.

@tracey9116 I agree about the titles, and I'll admit I'm here for Nene, I just love gorilla grannies! I do feel sorry for Shabani, all that media nonsense for a start and he needs some girls in there that actually like him, not possible unless they bring suitable mates in from overseas sadly.

Kiyomasa keeps Shabani on his toes and provides him with exercise and a chance to display his maleness. I noticed cheeky Annie pranking Nene, who predictably chased her. I think Annie likes that. 🦍💜

Kiyo is getting the large neck muscles of a silverback now. His head stands almost as high as Shabani's, when showing his fighting stance. It's interesting to watch him grow into a silverback.

Silverbacks - and any male animal for that matter - cannot go “into heat.” That terminology refers to the time during a female animal’s reproductive cycle when SHE is fertile. Males that haven’t been neutered, on the other hand, are ALWAYS fertile. The term you are looking for is AROUSED.

@@bigboytoyz541 Really? Because based on the frequent pronoun errors, I thought the channel was doing their own English subtitles. Shabani and Kiyomasa were mistakenly “her” - and Annie, Ai & Nene “him” - and I don’t see how translation software could confuse the sex of the gorillas. Another reason I thought the subtitles were added by a human was because Ai is often called “The Ai” - which is a very clever and witty reference to her name being a homophone for “eye” in English.

@@jenniferlynn3537 it is added by human as far as I know. But the Japanese translation from English messes up a lot of words. Just like when they call shabani het, or ai him. They often say shabani , she loves her children. Its not pronouncing errors, that's how it translates. It's the same on every channel.

Oh my goodness give their translations a break. It is hard I am sure to translate their language to ours. Just be thankful they are sharing this beautiful family with us all. Gorillas in the wild are almost extinct. I’m just so thankful these are well loved and well taken care of!!!

Agree. I get frustrated sometimes watching Kiyo. He’s young, and he’s becoming competition and approaching adulthood, he’s eyeing Ai, even tho she’s his half sister, I don’t think that means anything, Shabani is threatened by it. I see more n more tensions between the two. The zoo may have to take precautions to keep all safe.

Gentaro is 10 times worse than kyomasa. All day long he is throwing stuff and running around full speed hitting him. I hate watching them go through this black back phase. That's why it's important to separate them from the group, because they will mature and calm down when they are separated and by themselves for a while.

@@amirtamboli234 I agree. Momo has been very calm about it all, but when he has enough, it is going to get ugly. Right now gentaro always does the same thing, he starts trouble with momo then runs away like a coward. But if momo gets him cornered it's over.

IMO, if Shabani wanted to hurt his son, Kiyomasa, he could, easily. Kiyo looks so much like his father nowadays. When Shabani's blood is up - no one is getting any rest. Good to see him showing his troop who's the Big Boss.
