One thing that seems unique to me about this song is that it goes hard and aggressive but the vocal quality is so lyrical and gentle.

No true means of classifying SSPU. They have ALWAYS owned a sound all their own. The SWOON lp is one of the most amazing I have ever heard and I normally shy away from almost "straightforward " rock. This lp has a TON of cool nuances that make it far more than that. The production is RIDICULOUSLY stellar, skins are stoopid good, 6 and bass are tight, keys are the cohesive factor, along with amazingly "compatible " vocals from stem to stern. Truly rad album

I don't know how much more I could love a song. This is ultimate rock. The drummer is in beast-mode, like Bonham or Keith Moon. I turn it up loud with headphones, and god help me I will need hearing aids soon.

So it's August 3rd, 2021. I have had this song stuck in my head after a decade of forgetting this was actually a song. It kept popping up my head over and over again at the weirdest times. I'm in the gym right now and it popped in my head again. So now I couldn't take not knowing anymore so I went and tried looking for it. Oh man the power of technology. I put voice to text on Google and saw my phone gave me an option to try and find songs. But the problem was that I didn't know the lyrics, name of the song or the band, all I knew was the rhythm. Tell me why my phone gave me the option just to hum the song. So I hummed it and BOOM! it showed up as one of the possibilities. I immediately recognized the band and name and put it on here. I got to say, not only did this song give me the pump I needed, it also took 27 year old me back to high school when I was 15 and a fitness and skater freak. After a decade, this song is still fucking iconic. This is why I love KZfaq. Memories never die.
