35:40 How much of a "real-time" fandub is this if they'll got all this? To answer that, Penny actually gets all of the cutscenes gathered together & then they ALL watch what she's put together for them. Only Penny knows what's about to come up, but she doesn't script anything. The story of the fandubs sorta create themselves & then everyone rolls with it. If it doesn't overlap with something else going on, she'll shoehorn in a bit she thought about while arranging the footage, like that "intricate & longwinded monologue" joke in the 06 dub with Elise on the Windows screensaver. But nothing is actually *_planned_* out otherwise. This is why we got that absolute masterpiece that was the end of the Free Riders fandub. There literally just WASN'T a cutscene to actually wrap everything up, so Penny went into gmod & just did it herself. No one except her knew that part was coming. So that big flash of light faded to black, & Penny chucked those bitches into the deep end to fend for themselves lol. As for the Dark side Heroes footage "flashbacks" Penny included those for both extra materials/opportunities for jokes, as well as sort of making the jump between the different storyline cutscenes a bit less jarring. I think they added quite a bit of charm to the story, & they certainly added a lot to the dub lmao.
