i think harry is one of my favorites that he has played. he just looks so cute and innocent.

I absolutely love this - the beautiful bubbly vicar gets the drop-dead gorgeous guy...sigh...the chemistry between them is fantastic and it just looks like these were such fun episodes to film for them both.

I actually heard him say in an interview years after this was made that it was the funniest 2 weeks of his life! What fun they must have had!

You can see where they have the big kissing scene the camera has to cut away because they are both about to collapse laughing. She is beautiful and he is gorgeous and together they are brilliant. Geraldine got the right man in the end. I wish there had been more episodes but to finish and leave us all wanting more isn't such a bad thing - it's a bit like not having quite enough chocolate!

NOO...this was SOO perfect, you cannot improve on perfection. To bring it back would be wrong on every level - which is why Richard Curtis hasn't - the whole storyline of Geraldine, her life surrounded by lovable idiots, whom loved HER and she, THEM, but was intrinsically lonely, concluded in her FINALLY finding the love she wanted, she deserved, in Harry Kennedy. Far too many, mostly American, dramas/comedies, go on way past their best..the writing tires, the storylines have been exhausted, the actors want to move to new projects...FAR better to leave an audience wanting more, than to have them jaded by it... just look at Fawlty Towers.. twelve episodes, just TWELVE, and it's considered perfect...and as fabulous as Frasier was, (some episodes I could quote verbatim) they dragged it out WAY too long!

Great Vid! when i first watched these two episodes, I was grinning so hard through them, my face hurt for the rest of the night. Loved this show, love Dawn French and WHO can resist Richard? *whew

I remember when I saw this episode....The only thing I could think about the whole time I was watching it was "That's what I want.....That sweet little English village (town? burrough?) and that tall, charming, gorgeous Englishman." :::sighs:::: Still do....A girl can dream...

It's a village, remember the Village Parish Meetings 😁 It's a real village too, not a fictional one!... Turville, near High Wycombe, near where I live. But you needs ooodles of pounds to live there, it's a well sought after location and is massively expensive to buy a house there!

@@dhog41 High Wycombe is in Buckinghamshire, or Bucks, it's one of what we call the Home Counties.. the counties that border London; Kent, Surrey, Middlesex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex... because of their proximity to, and efficient train schedules, they are 'commuter' counties, ie, you can get into central London or the City within 40/50 minutes or so.. making them highly desirable to those working in London... the further out from London you get, the house prices drop accordingly... the same for the areas around any Capital city.

@FairyKingdom86 Thank you. :) Yeah, we both love Richard Armitage too. He's very underrated! Well anyway, if you haven't seen it, you don't even have to watch the whole series to get it. He's basically in the 2 or 3 episodes of season 5. And they are really funny and cute!

Well... He lost his v-card at 17 to an older girl at some camp, and she announced it to everyone the next day, along with umm... her opinion on his performance... (This is from an interview of his from some magazine I read online.....a gazillion years ago..lol - around the time North and South came out). And he was engaged I think to some actress a few years ago... But he could very likely be gay, rather bi... Who knows.... He's amazing at his job... and looks yummy doing it 😍
