This was the hardest drawing for me for several reasons. I have never drawn such a large hand - I redrew it about 10 times and ended up with very similar results in the end (still not satisfied with the result but it’s a process:)). I redrew the hair many times as I wanted them to look more effortless yet not so chaotic. Also it is very large scale for me. I had a hard time choosing the right title, I came up with many and ended up with the first one, the most general and simple one.

There is equally the same amount of beauty in seeing the detailed strokes as having them disappear in the blending and look like an actual photograph! 😮

So is it just me, but I'm having trouble thinking how you can put your left hand behind your head like that? I guess someone is grabbing her head and neck area from the front. Maybe I'm just not that flexible. Yes her art is so incredibly lifelike. I've never questioned one of her drawings ever before
