Hi everyone, in this video I will share some tips for drawing, shading and blending. I will tell you everything you need to know about pencil grades before you start drawing. Draw them both at the same time. As in you first draw a line on one side, then the other, then you switch again and repeat. Don't complete one eye and then do the other. At least thats what works for me.

Fabulous work. Found your channel while searching for watercolor techniques. I love doing black and grey pencil work when I was a kid. Thinking I can apply your process in WC. A tip I have for you. Q tips work well for blending too. I would be afraid to use the makeup pad, too large for my liking.

Personally i just use 0.9 mm mechanical pencils with hb lead to draw. That has worked pretty well for me.

So realistic! I am completely blown away watching each layer unfold.... Please forgive my ignorance, I am not "tech savoy " or a big "social media" fan. I am 58 and was a stay at home mom for a couple decades, somewhat isolated, newly divorced, with much to learn! My question is "paper"? Where do I start? Texture, weight, color?? Is there any basic guideline to follow? And pencils? Is there a particular brand you suggest using? Or perhaps, what you , normally" use and where they can be found? Purchased? I would love to know, what you have found works well ? That information alone, would be priceless! Thank you for your time.....

Same age. Glad I had the foresight not to have kids so I can have all the free time I want for art and piano. My paper of choice is computer paper as I can get the same results from my technical abilities
