That is why I don't keep my money in my bank account. Also, a pin number is required with the phone company. So, without that pin, they are out of luck.

Best to way to reduce risk is to use a sim pin code that is entered on start up.

Exactly ... and anybody that is dumb enough or lazy enough to not have a 4 pin protection deserves to lose their cash.

I think this just happened to my wife's phone. It was working fine yesterday morning and then all of a sudden she had no connection to our provider, she had to go into an ATT store to have it fixed. It was her SIM card that they said went bad.

NO, no, no, no, no ... your wife decided to end her affair with her co-worker and now he won't stop calling her number .. you're wife blocked him, but he started grabbing friends phones and calling her with those new numbers ... your wife could not keep up with the calls because eventually YOU will be beside her when he calls again and you might put two and two together, so she removed the SIM card and told you that the phone is not working...to give her time to contact the ex-lover and " work out a deal" before you find out. By the time she got the new SIM card back into the phone, her and her lover have patched things up. When your wife walks away from her phone, her computer or her laptop .. install a KEYLOGGER program to see her passwords to her emails, and then put an APPLE TRACKING device in her purse or car and watch where she goes for a week or two....if nothing sketchy shows up on either one of them...don't divorce her. PS: If your wife is stupid, she might not know that all anybody has to do is click on her Google Avatar at the top right hand of the Google homepage and when the sub menu pops down, there are three blue buttons, the one with the KEY is her privacy settings, you click on the key and then you can see EVERY SINGLE login name and password to every webpage she uses ... amazon, outlook, gmail, ticktok, etc. . . NOW IF, she has a password manager on that function and ONLY YOU AND HER live in that home...then she is hiding her passwords from nobody but YOU .... call a lawyer.

Do they open up an account with a fictional name and then just draw all the money they stole out of it? I don't get how someone could get away with this. Your bank can pull the money back from the account the scammer sent it to.

This video was made to scare uneducated people with the Headline and then fill them with scary bullshit, in order to get them to watch to the end .. so that the uploader can make a few pennies off of them. Social media has turned into predators and prey.
