Malka is a cub that appeared in a 2004 comic called " Simba's New Brother ".
This comic is not canon to the original storyline and all the theories are based on my own opinion.

Malka was a cub from other pride that got lost and Simba's parents adopted him while they find his parents (it happens on a book of simbas's childhood). At the end Zazu founds Malka's mother.

I think Malka wanted to go exploring and hoped that he would find a lioness so they could have a cub and form their own pride

I just go with the third one. I've also seen theories that Malka is the crown prince of his own pride, and later in life, Simba and Malka attempted to betroth Kiara to one of Malka's cubs, but it was decided against when Kiara fell in love with Kovu.

My theory is:Malka and his mom got killed on their way to the pride by a small group of outlanders.

I think she might have killed a different pride and took Vitani in as her own, making her believe that she was her mother. Also, Kovu might have been apart of said pride Vitani was in, hence, Zira taking him too. Though, that's a theory and you're entitled to your own opinion.

@@angelpaw8543 It is also possible (but much harder to explain) that Vitani and Kovu are Zira's biological cubs. I think that after Nuka (Who I have always wanted to believe is Scar And Zira's Son). Scar seeing that Nuka would not grow into the heir he wanted. Ordered Zira to go out and find a Lion that could sire strong cubs. Vitani and Kovu were the result of Zira's "efforts" at Scar's behest. It is very possible that Vitani and Kovu had the same Father.

I know that Malka and Tama have 3 cubs, but I have more lionesss that where also Malka’s mate. Sabini and Sabina are more of Malka’s mates and both Sabina and Sabini are Simba’s cousins. Sabini and Sabina’s mom is a lioness named Thema. The father is Kiwa. I don’t know what happened to Thema but I know that she was Mufasa and Scar’s brother.

My theory is that Malka is son of Naanda and an unknow lion. But than Naanda disappeared and Malka was alone because he had no dad. So Mufasa decided that Malka will be staying with them a little time when they find Naanda. Simba didn want a brother or a sister. And later Naanda was found and she wasnt lost, she runned away cuz she didn told noone that he was pregnant. He had gave birth to a male cub Chumwi. So yeah. Chumwi and Malka are half brothers. At scars reign scar wanted to kill Malka and Chumwi because they were not his cubs. But Naanda said that they will hunt you a lot and scar let them live. Malka escaped in pridelands and started his own pride somewhere else

My theory:Malka was there with simba in his childhood so maybe when the stamped happened he got trampled along with mufasa but nobody noticed his body

My theory is Malka tried to come back when Scar became king, but Scar chased him off. This explains why he wouldn’t come back, because he thinks that he isn’t welcome there

@chloe the peanut 1 year late but Mufasa’s ghost would have told Rafiki about Malka (Mufasa could control the weather and is basically a god so he probably remembers everything that has happened in the Pridelands history)

i like the end theory where he comes back, i think it would be good to do because it could be set as simba forgets him and sees the male lion as danger to him and his pride.

My theory about Malka is that he was adopted by Mufasa and Sarabi and become Simba’s Adoptive Brother. When malka left simba and his pride he went to stay with his own pride but unfortunately got lost again. Malka is possibly still alive but it is still currently unconfirmed. This is my theory.

My theory is that he had a good time in the pride and after he got lost they kept watching him and make sure he was with someone at all times. until when he became of age and had to either challenge his pride leader or go and find or make his own pride. He probably bumped into the pride lands on the way. This at the time when scar was king. When he saw how Scar was treating the rest of the pride. He challenged him but he was defeated and I died a Noble death.

The first theory is quite realistic. But it would fun to learn more about this other Pride family. Maybe even invite them to share their lands together, giving both families more space and resources.

i think that in slothtastics family tree series there was a lion called colmech which looks exactly like malka. however the age difference is different. i think that colmech is the grandson or son to malka. this means the reason malka never came back was because he was with the humans. this also explains why everyone thinks colmech is brave but then turns out to be scared and is just pretty much the same as malka. i think i have quite a good theory. if you like you can publish

Maybe malka wants to be waiting to be a adult and surprise his long lost brother (simba) but when he was an adult , he got killed and got injured multiple times.

If Malka is alive out there and is able to return he would also have to be made sure by the king that he is not a threat and is still the same soul brother (I thought pretty hard on how the royal lion prides work when it comes to new male lions and unrelated cubs and how they are at making their own natural decisions that are different from the not to royal and political lion Prides)

If Malka was biologically related to Simba he could possibly be Simba’s cousin because Malka has a dark mane like Scar or if he was actually his brother he probably has the dark mane gene in him, supposing Mufasa and Scar are biological brothers.

My theory of malka: So he was the first born of mufasa, and when mufasa was telling him about circle of life. Malka asked "What's that place?", Mufasa told him not to go there but malka did anyway, hyenas surrounded him and that was the end Of Malka....mufasa searched for him but didnt find him then he saw something in the fog in the outlands, the bones of malka were infront of him. Then 2 years later simba was born So do u like it? Pls comment to me askari for this yes or no question! Edit: Heres another theory!: when simba was banished (For some say), Malka finally returned and when he realized scar took over he ran away, and he was found from another pride Called Sun Pride, King was Mtawala (Means Ruler) and the queen Was Mwezi (Means Moon)

Or Malka has a son with Zira called Kovu. Since kovu isn’t actually scars kin. They might have a huge age difference, but that doesn’t stop lions in the wild.

My theory is that Malka is Simba's second uncle. Ahadi, Mufasa and Scar's father has a black mane and gold fur, like Malka himself so it would make sense for Malka to be Simba's second uncle. Plus I think that Malka is also younger than Scar

1 many years later he was finally old enough to make his own pride so he was welcomed in by queen jana but when Jana became old like two days before Kion and the guard came he knew Jana was comeing close to death so he ran away and never reaterned

theory malka is kovu and vitani’s father he returned to the pridelands during scar’s rule and because sarabi was adamant he stayed and scar didn’t want to cause more conflict with the lionesses he allowed it during that time zira and malka became quite close and they were a secret couple malka however was chased out soon before simba’s return scar knew the cubs were not his, but they were still much stronger than nuka so he took them in as his heirs

My Theory took place when scar was king as he was about to go visit simba he noticed a lot of hyenas so he sneaked in and tried finding simba he passed by nala and asked her where he is but nala said that he's dead then hyenas noticed him and chased him but he went back to his pride safely

My theory is what happened to him is he got lost again when he was a adult and stayed in the Outlander and met a lioness and had kovu and vitani and when zira came back to the Outlands, she decided to kill malka and his wife and decided to raise and tell them scar was their father.

Malka is technically not Sinba' s brother because Malka wasn't born into the family. He was found lost on in the pridelands.

With how many lions and prides appear in this comics, compared to the 3 prides known in the movies and lion guard (outsiders,pridelanders and night pride) I wonder.. are the pridelands the only kingdom? (Without taking into account the night pride) or every pride is a kingdom and each territory considers their lion prides as their kings?

I think Malka first born and then simba was born Malka was angry and upset and he had a plan to take simba somewhere and he would abandoned him but Zazu came so his plan failed so he made another plan that night when everybody was asleep he would take simba put him on the top of pride rock and hang simba over the edge but Sarafina woke up and saw Malka cerring simba she alerted mufasa and Sarabi and when Malka was teen witch was when simba was a cub Malka was band from the pride lands but after he here’d of mufasa’s death he returned and nondesed that simba was gone he furiosley attacked scar but scar had the hyenas to help him scar won and Malka was once banned again and he here’d simba was still alive again he returned and the flames burned him.
