Em6l is one of my favorite iems, I definitely prefer it over the LM, but I like both. Now if they did an em6l with a build like the ea1000 I’d pay $250

i see you use the apple dongle which is at the top for sound quality/ price ratio, but do you have other source with better sound quality to recommend ? or is the difference in sound quality with apple dongle so small, it is not worth spending more for a dac dedicated to iem exclusively ?

The Apple dongle is top tier sound quality. I have many other sources it doesn’t make a difference

I have both. I got the lm because the em6l nozzle broke loose and had to send it back. Em6l is still much smoother. Lm has much better build quality and the conventional connector. It sounds more forward and more bass. At the same output level, em6l sound quieter while lm is already rather “hot”. If I need to keep one, em6l easily. Wish they do a better revision of the em6l

I've heard the build on the em6l isn't great but now the supermix 4 is out. So there is a better version now

@@LuciferArc1 haha I have been enjoying the supermix 4. I don’t miss the em6l or have touched the lm since I’ve got it. So much better and smoother.

Another reviewer(Paul Wasaby) tried ea500lm with gold nozzles but removed foam inside of them(it's pretty easy to do), after that they became better in technical department, he said that the foam dampened sound too much. Could u please check out that mod and compare them to em6l?

I have the em6l. I'd just blind buy them. My only gripe with them is the left nozzle coming loose. I had to glue them back.

Removing the foam on the ea500lm, wouldn't that make it too sibilant? People usually mod them to make them less sibilant. I just got them and I really like them, but I don't have the EM6L to compare with

Yea don’t buy ea500lm. If you want something better try the supermix 4.

Hi, if you only had the tangzu wanners sg and want to upgrade what would you pick(something budget friendly)? I also want to know your opinión on koss products, it seems to be some kind of cult comunnity around it, but i really don't trust almost anyone on youtube, but i like to know your opinion on koss headphones, thanks in advance...

I’d keep the Tangzu waners, and save up for something better. The EM6L is a good option.

QDC is superior in every goddamn way. It IS compatible with 2-pin-0.78mm. It does not have contact group as a load bearing element and allows it to be much more springy and reliable. It takes much less space inside of a shell. It pins has much less chance to break inside of a shell. Cable is much less awkward to hook around ears. It had some polarity confusion, but KZ s-type is basically a standard nowdays. Some guys with elephant ears have issues with hooks sizes. Just use yours perfectly good and already owned 0.78-2-pin cable, problem solved.
